I've never seen V-brakes like these before. I would imagine they work really well.
@KarlosEPM Жыл бұрын
Similar "mini V-brakes" are popular for cyclo cross bikes since they can be coupled with the mechanical advantage (leverage) provided by the cable actuating STI levers. They are an alternative for cantilever brakes.
@rangersmith4652 Жыл бұрын
@@KarlosEPM Interesting. I converted a hybrid bike with more conventional V-brakes to drop bars and opted for single-purpose long-pull brake levers and bar-end shifters. I chose this arrangement because long-pull 9-speed STI shifters would have cost more than the bike is probably worth in this configuration (LOL). Makes a decent gravel bike and a great winter bike. Probably one-of-a-kind.

You mention giving a like for the editor, for anyone who has never edited a video, it usually takes about 3 times longer than the video is long. But something for the viewer to consider, they film this over a few days, meaning that there is hours of video to go through and the editor picks out the parts they want and does the editing magic to it, then the voice over needs to be added to the video and also the music. All those parts need to match up right to have a smooth video, and most viewers who don’t edit video will never realize that editing takes a lot of patience and an eye for details. I not only give you a like but also huge applause 👏 👏 👏 for your efforts. On top of that, your group effort is why I drop a like and a comment on every video you put out, you deserve every view and more.

Hi sohil thanks for the support! We never really do specific how to content but in short… Drop your chain to the lowest gear. Wind your thumb adjust back to the start. Up shift your bike one gear. Turn the chain and the thumb adjuster simultaneously until it shifts up the gear. Then you should be indexed 🧡

Giant revised the cable routing design a couple of times since the gen 1 propel, the gen 2 had the gear and hydraulic brake cables still going over the stem but tucked in under a cover and through the headset bearings. The gen 3 now routes the cables under the stem through the headset bearings in a much sleeker design. All designs trying to improve on the issue picked up in this service. In the near future solving for cable routing will be a thing of the past with di2 now so affordable on the Shimano 105 product.
@carlosflanders518 Жыл бұрын
Giant could easily have done a better job of designing the routing. Allowing one to screw down the cap to the cable port and a better attachment of the cable guides would have been a major start. Or providing alternative cable entry points somewhere on the head or downtube for less friction. As it is, the design is so poor that most propel owners I know just went for di2 anyway.
