I think the most important thing people should take from this video is, grinding for ultimate descendants is pretty much the endgame content. You're gonna need all the help you can get in order to start farming them efficiently and consistently, which is why upgrading your weapon should be your top priority.

Quick note for Executioner - if you can run Absolute Curse (dispel/purge) on Descendant it's -very- marginally beneficial. The run you have at 3:13 has his buff that decreases all damage taken (about 33% I think) - he casts it [POTENTIALLY INCORRECT, BUT ANECDOTALLY CORRECT FOR ME] after his first weakpoint break or after his first stagger bar fill (when he does a little angry dance and summons cosmetic lightning around him). Can also use Piercing Light or Eseimo's 4.

Got everything today getting the code, stabilizer, and catalyst were a breeze dropping from 1-3 tries. The cells were a pain to get (had to do 40 runs which I got 9 patterns and dropped on the 9th and had 16 of the lepic code). I burned 5 shape stabilizers during the cells farm. Despite of that, it was really fun and had a better run comparing to my sharen and base lepic farms which I had to buy lepic due to how grindy it got lol. All in all, my grind was around 13-14 hours despite playing solo. Also got 3 materials for bunny and all I need is her stabilizer and the materials to craft it. Thank you for the guide!

There is a new void reactor bug right now just an FYI. If you kill the boss and abort right as they die AND before the reconstruction device spawns (you have like 1-2 seconds to do this) and you time it properly, you can use the device and not have your shards consumed, ofc you will still need shards for the initial activation. Works well for reactor bosses that drop purple materials you might need or saving shards. I would say this is an abuse and will be patched so use at your own risk.

I honestly feel like she should be buffed just because of how hard she is to get compared to other ultimates. A well built ultimate Freyna or Hailey can take down all solo bosses in less than 10 seconds. IMHO I don’t really see the need for using her much anymore other than being a support in molten fortress, but that’s gonna get nerfed so I don’t see the point in using her unless she gets some really good buffs.

Ult gley was so easy to get for me it was like 6 hrs farming 3 bosses and 1 reactor in hatchery but ult bunny code alone 28hrs all parts 42hrs xD crazy rng.

It really does depend. If I'm doing a good infiltration with a team, I'm happy to stick around, because I'll get Catalysts in the worst case scenario. But with Patterns from outposts, I'd save up maybe, 4 at most, and then open them. You don't want to open immediately after getting 1, because of the time loss/fatigue of switching characters, but you also don't want to farm 15, drop the piece on the first, and then have an investment of 90 minutes in Patterns that aren't that useful when that time could have been better spent on other outposts. Lots of factors at play, but because you're statistically going to get lucky on one piece and unlucky on another, you want to know that you got lucky early before investing more time into Patterns.

Can you consistently clear Molten Fortress? If so, it's totally fine. Most people can't, so 58 is better, strictly if you're going for Gley.

I've picked the optimal methods based on average clear times and a few other factors, but it should always be quicker. There may be an edge case if you have a 30s boss killer, but even in those situations, it's marginal.

I cannot get stabalizer for the life of me. Tried about 65 times a mix of the agna desert outpost and reactor and devourer and nothing my buddy got it first try at agna desert reactor. This games RNG is highly discouraging. I have the worst luck in games like this. They need to do something to make getting these pieces easier the more you open them or something percent gets higher till you get the lowest percentage piece then resets or somn...

So you collect 6 patterns with Sharen and then open them. Isn't it straight better to skip the infiltration RNG completely and instead do pattern 84 for Cells and 96 for Catalyst ? It's 3 runs of "hard" missions that will guarantee 2 drops each (plus a 20% chance to get the shape stabilizer): Seed Vault in Echo Swamp for 84 and Caligo Ossuary in Agna Desert for 96. Those open on Pyro (84) and Swampwalker (96), 2 extremely easy bosses, specially if you are solo. You also skip the Void shard farming portion entirely by doing this. You gotta be extremely lucky on your infiltrations to get 6 patterns with Gley parts to drop in the same time it takes to run those missions 3 times. We are dealing with a 6% drop chance for each part, the odds are terrible to begin with, so makes sense to me to eliminate any extra RNG I can when farming such low drop rates. In this case, the RNG of a 25% chance per infiltration to drop 1 pattern at most, plus the time it takes to farm shards to open it is not looking good when you can have 2 guaranteed drops with no extra requirements to open every single run.

Seed Vault and Caligo take quite a long time, and Pyro/Swampwalker aren't bosses that people can readily and easily kill on spawn. If you can reasonably clear 84 and 96, as well as kill two of those bosses, in about 10 minutes, then it's a viable alternative.

@@Hakei OK, so after I posted my comment, I started the farm doing missions then Colossi. I swaped pattern 58 from Slumber Valey/Executioner to pattern 66 from Unkown Laboratory/Dead Bride. To be fully transparent, I had quite a few leftover stabilizers from my Ultimate weapons grind (5 copies each of Enduring Legacy, Python, Devotion Hand Cannon, Afterglow Sword, Secret Garden and Greg's), so that probably made a difference. I did 4 runs of a mission and opened the 8 patterns, using stabilizer when I had it. If the part didn't dropped, I would switch to another mission to avoid burnout. I'm happy to report that Ult Gley was cooking 7 hours after I started and is currently in the oven. Now is just the waiting game. I'd say if you are to tackle those missions with the 200% plus score modifier and kill the Colossi, you will save quite some time and won't be douple dipping on Bunny or Lepic. If not, stick to your stategy would be the best. In the end, what matters is that we all will get Ult Gley in the end, be in 7 hours, 14 hours, or several days.
