Offensive?! Willie was perhaps the strongest character in the whole Simpsons series. Sure, he is portrayed as a goofy and lonely Scotsman, but compared to Homer, Krusty, Barney, Apu, the Sea Captain and many more, he's a badass and kicks ass and is not afraid to tell how things are.

At it's absolute peak between 1992 - 1997 or '98, imo. EVERY episode was laugh out loud funny several times per show. It is my favorite show of all time.

I stopped watching fully after the 03 season & altogether after the 07 season. The movie was good, but the seasons that followed seemed less gut wrenching with laughter, too animated verses being drawn & tried that much harder at staying relevant with social events.

Tom Markulics to me, seasons 3-8 are pantheon level awesomeness. 9 through 11 are good, 12 through 15 had a couple of good episodes each and once you get to 20 not even the Treehouse of Horror episodes can be counted on.
