I'm bookmarking this for future reference. Not only do I have mismatched eyes with one being slightly larger & less hooded than the other, but one is actually lower than the other too. I have to add to the brow of one eye & take away lower lashline definition on the opposite eye to achieve more symmetry Sometimes in photos it looks like I have eyeliner on only one eye if I don't take my time. Slight nose contouring evens out the asymmetry of my nose which isn't as noticeable unless you're aware of it. Is this what is meant by aging gracefully 😆? Anyway, thank you, this was a very easy to follow tutorial for achieving the look of more symmetry between the eyes with makeup.

Loved this video Elle. I struggle every morning with getting my eye look even. It’s especially difficult when I am lining the upper lash line, one eye is easy and I can get it on with that eye closed but when I go to the other eye it’s such a more difficult application-so frustrating 🤪 but your video is encouraging and I thank you for all you do to help us all out here in makeup land lol!!

Thank you so much for doing this video! I feel like no one has really touched on this as specifically as you have. I have just about the same exact thing going on with my eyes. One is more hooded than the other and is “puffy” right at the outer lash line, and my eyebrows are uneven in the same way. So it was great to get some tips on how to create the illusion that they’re more even.👍🏼

This is such a great video. Thank you so much. About a year ago I started using Rodan & Fields lash product and I'm telling you that before I knew it my lashes were longer but one of my eyes is more hooded than the other one and it was only after I started using that product, so now I'm left with one eye that has more of a droopy lid and it's not that noticeable in person like you say but I'm so self-conscious about it so this video is a godsend for me. Thank you Elle! ❤❤❤

This is a great video ..... as I get older 'things' change like you said. Thank you, thank you

I have the same issue too. I asked my eye doctor about this and the surgery and he said some people actually find this trait sexy and lots of actresses have it 🤷🏻♀️😂who knows but I thought that was interesting how he stressed the uniqueness and what we think of as a flaw as actually desirable lol. Nonetheless I will try Elle’s tricks!!!

Interesting ...... I would have never thought to look at it like that. It doesn't bother me until I see a picture of myself - I guess we are always harder on ourselves than what really is
