Hi there! I've just bought the two new starter decks from Shimmering Skies to kick off my journey with Lorcana. Thanks for the guide - very clear and insightful, keep it up! What would you recommend for a new guy like myself? Just keep buying boosters from the newest set or get single cards? Maybe buy the older boosters? I'd like to play competitive at some point. Thanks!

Hey there! 😀 I'd always recommend buying singles and building the decks that you like. In Lorcana it can get a bit pricy, to be fair, as some competitive staples are costly, but it will still likely end up costing you less than buying sealed product. Also, always wait about two-three weeks after the set has been released for prices to come down, the initial prices are way too overblown in any tcg. Will you do the other wave 5 starter deck as well? Would also love a series where you choose a budget deck (I'd suggest below 15 bucks so cheaper than a starter) from dreamborn and analyze it. Kind regards

Hey there :) We have the other starter deck in plan. Currently we're wrapping up content for next week, will try to fit it in. Budget series is coming next week! The biggest challenge is defining a budget as the game pieces can add up the cost but we're figuring it out :)

Hey, it is still being planned but a lot of stuff has been pushed for next week as we're both sick atm (only 1 video coming out and that's new spoilers because we have to cover those but otherwise it is hardcore bed time) :/ We're considering doing it like the budget aggro guide that we put out recently, just upgrade paths and some basic gameplay explanation.
