Ultimate guide to 100% MAP COMPLETION

There are tons of reasons to want to get 100% Map Completion of Core Tyria. Maybe you're a completionist, you find it relaxing, or you could be after the Gifts of Exploration to craft Generation 1 Legendary Weapons.
Whatever your reason, there are tons of tips and tricks to know about, as well as resources, that can help you with this endeavor.
In this guide I'll go over the different community resources such as Blish HUD, and its pathing module, the most popular Routes you can implement, and some other content creators.
Apart from these, there's some general advice that will come in handy on how to efficiently complete hearts, which mounts to use when, etc.

One thing to note about cancelling the progress bar animation when needing to interact with an object in the open world, if you do stumble into combat immediately after interacting, you can't utilize any of your attack skills until the "invisible" progress bar is filled. So while you are able to spam multiple progress bars to rapidly finish a heart, you can't attack until the progress bar is actually completed. This is more of an annoyance than a hinderance though as most progress bars fill decently fast and I have never been downed by an enemy because I couldn't attack back in time. I originally thought something was wrong with my keybinds when this happened to me the first few times, but I realized it was because even though the progress bar was cancelled with weapon swap and I got credit for activating the object for the heart, there was still an invisible progress bar that prevented me from attacking. Great video!

Thank you for the tip on buying the notarized scrolls. Currently you have to buy them to get full map completion because the searing cauldron hero point in Iron Marches is bugged and won't let you commune with it. Which I find ironic since you're going through Iron Marches in the video lol

Blish Hud??? How did I not hear of this sooner??? Well I know now! It's a life saver! Well, at least a wrist saver, lol. The mount choice module alone will definitely help ease pressure up from the carpal tunnel I suffer from in both wrists. Thank you!

It's an absolute gamechanger! There might be other modules that will help with your wrist issues (such as the Inquest Chipset), it's definitely worth scrolling through them all.

Great guide as usual. I've used Tekkit's pack for almost everything except for map completion where I prefer Teh's trails. I also use the module for the mount dial on BlishHud. It takes a little to get used to but I'm glad I did it before SotO. I can't get used to a lot of key biddings for each mount so it get's a lot easier when hunting rifts for instance.

Hello, Even tho the video covered some really good tips for world comp, I would like to add some of my personal tricks I do a lot of world comp, because sometimes I watch a movie, and just want to chill, so I do world comp and I sell the gift Anyway, first thing I would like to add is to use the Jade Tech boon giving things you can get on EoD maps, they give you basically all the available boons almost in the game every time you enter combat, you can stack them up for 2h in under 3 minutes, in open world you will permanently upkeep these boons since u enter and exit combat all the time, these give u more damage, more sustain Second thing I would like to add, have a ranged weapon on a power class, with the previous tip you will most likely one shot most of the things so, you can just spam AA and kill everything around you, which makes doing hearts more fun, BTW having all these boons is really a lot of fun, I am an ex-elitist so for me having boons is somewhat more comfortable than not having them, even if just for aesthetics xD Third thing I would like to add, now with the introduction of Relics, you can put together a kinda God like build for open world, so as I said, because of hearts you spend a lot of time in combat even with the first tip, in combat your movement speed is reduced, you can use the speed relic and some kind of Sigil of Speed, with this combo you movement will be closer to Superspeed than swiftness As a side note, these tips work really good not just for world comp, see, even if you are just doing Silverwastes you will kill mobs more easily, which helps you rotate faster, which is more gold or you are farming rifts for example, or maybe when you are doing achievements in places where there is a lot of enemy and you cant even mount

That some good guides! Ive been doing world completation for years, I on my 72° time and since we go mounts etc in game is way more fast! Basically 3 to 5 maps a day I try do and if I didn't forgot are 36 maps to complete, so i spend at least 1h on each map(3 to 5 maps as a said). Great video!! PS: noticed you have some markes like around objectives and the hint in the screen on what to do... which marker/option is this? I use tekkits but never saw that

The marker pack shown in the video is Teh's Trails, the fastest but most intense map comp pack. Not one where you can turn your brain off while simply following a line like you can with Tekkit's, but the world record of under 7 hours was set using it.

I would love a guide for farming t6 materials for the gifts. I am looking at the crafting list for making the legendaries and the amount for those seem pretty daunting to get (around 60-70g / stack). Would it be better to make the gold from elsewhere and buy the materials from tp?

Actually, I'm working on that! Technically, other farms might be better than farming for a specific material. It is more than possible. Thanks! I would say the Pathing module is my favorite, which features often in my videos :P Others I like having is: Timers for raiding, Event Table so I can open an overview (like the wiki) of all metas in game, and Inquest Chipset. Sometimes I use others, but not all the time. There's a Chat Shorts one, where you can paste text in chat with the click of a single button. This is handy for waypoints you visit often. And finally, when doing the fishing collections, Fishing Buddy is really great.

Yeah, they did. It is only the PVE Core Tyria maps now. Makes it slightly easier for some people, depending on their home world.

AFAIK most of the world completion routes won't let you. I know there's some implemented for farming routes where you can do this. I'll check tomorrow for world comp.

You'll need Blish HUD, which can be found here: blishhud.com/ Once that's installed, you'll have to download the "pathing module" and enable it, after which you can choose between different trails. There's a user guide on the site as well that goes over everything step by step, with images.
