Hey Seren, thanks for the vid! Not sure you recall, but we had a discussion on the white bandit mask recipe and its value a while back, hope it all worked out! I had a question, I've just started cataclysm (pyrewood village, alli) and I'm a bit skint. I only have an 80 and a 65 character. I've started training JC on my main (400/450), but haven't chosen another main profession. Should I have just gone with gathering proffs from the start to build some capital initially? I was thinking JC/Mining also, but JC/Enchanting might also be very lucrative for D/E all the mats and selling enchants, or even JC/Alch for vial of sands. In SOD i've made most of my capital (~28k) and haven't gathered a single bit, so wasn't sure what the best approach is with cataclysm. Argh! Any advice would be much apreciated!

Hey :) I do remember of course! I picked up my White Bandit Mask fairly cheap in the end at the start of Phase 2, I was pretty pleased with myself for waiting! I hope you are well. I'm not a gathering fan really, I try to avoid it, but at the start of the expansion its going to be really strong. So consider going farming then just dropping it. I've picked up herbs on my hunter just in case I need to scrabble to get something early as I'm looking to be early into Inscription & Alchemy. I'm planning to drop herbs on hunter & take engineering after a week or two. (I have inscription on alt). That said, ore prices are low at the moment. JC combined with enchanting could be really strong. Infinite Dust is really high right now. So basically, if you think you will use it then pick up gathering temporarily, but otherwise enchanting is good!

One thing you're probably relieved about is not paying the extortionate recipe prices pre-P2; I thought it was kind of hilarious how quickly the prices dropped on that recipe. Very well thanks, glad to see you're keeping up the great content :D Alright, brilliant. Thank you very much on the insight. You're right, what did surprise me is the ore prices on my realm which I honestly thought would be much higher, but the prices at the start of an expansion are also kind of wild due to the vast amount of demand and lack of supply. I may do mining in that case, and set up an enchanting leveling "kit" following the initial craze, as people start gearing and enchanting post-raid. Thanks again!

hello youtuber can you give me all the potions that are good for making gold like wich recipes is there a list online or can you tell me please like alist of the best potions i have 525 alchemy 525 herbalism with potion mastery i did all that work today but now that im a master potion maker i dont know wich ones will be good u know what i mean

Hey! It is great that you are a potions master. So, Potions Master gives you an 20% extra proc rate on your potions. Right now this week, stat potions won't be popping off too much, since the raids aren't out yet. But when you get closer to raid release, you should focus on stat potions, then after that, every raid reset will be great for them. This week, I would probably concentrate on crafting Potion of Treasure Finding, then a bit niche but still really good is Potion of Deepholm. Depending on your server, herb prices are extreme right now. Even as a potion Master, don't forget you can do a transmute either to Truegold or Volatile Life, they should still be profitable. I hope that helps!

So minimum lvl for transmutation in Cata is lvl 75? Sorry , first time levelling alchemy :S

My alchemy mastery wont shown what do i do? My alt has already lvl 450 alchemy but the quest of master transmutaion and ect won't shown yelmak in ogrimar didnt give any quest even thought ive already checking it so many times What do ido

Hey, Did you check that you don't already have a mastery? When you open the toast window to Yelmak he should either have the quest or have a text asking if you want to drop your current mastery? Is your alt at least level 75?

Hey, I believe its 450 to loot the recipe and 525 to actually craft it. You can collect Canopic Jars prior to levelling your alchemy to 450 though and just not open them until you are ready.

So where can i learn transmution master in prepatch?

The quest was usually in Netherstorm, you needed to hand in 5 x primal might. But I don't think you can do it in Prepatch unfortunately, I think you might have to wait now until Cata launches then hand in Truegold for the new quest at your trainer. It might be worth visiting Netherstorm anyway and just double checking, but I wouldn't purchase your primal might until you confirmed the quest was in.

I thought making truegold throughout the expansion was effective but maybe it isnt?

It will be effective, but the volatile transmute is generally thought of to be a better one. Volatile life will be pretty cheap to acquire and the profit should be good!

For me Blizzard completely destroyed the market for Alchemists by trying to give players boosts with those stupid little boxes. Not only that but also Inscription as well with the scrolls. I hope they remove this for Cata but knowing how much they cater for the casual player, I am pretty sure they will end up giving more away.

I felt exactly the same, flasks were ruined for all of Wrath basically. I haven't seen those boxes mentioned or on beta, so I don't think they are in. In theory they were put in to quests because of phasing issues so shouldn't still be needed. I suspect they will be back though!
