@@mqximedupont cata was the final point at which every class was actually unique and balanced, everything before was unbalanced, some classes just being completely useless, everything afterwards, classes lost unique traits such as rogues being the stun lock god nek min everyone has a 4 second stun, everyone has a heal, every class has functionally the same abilities in retail just different particle effects

Cata was a great pvp expansion , and its overwhelmingly crowded its the first classic that really gives me the nostalgia vibes , i loved wrath back in the day its my favorite expansion but it just did not hit like back in the day with the rushed pre patch and not having the lively old school events

So if I just turn 85 with my Resto Shaman next week, I'll buy some Resilence Gear in the AH and farm BG's + Wintergrasp. But where do I get weapon + shield with resilience before I play arena, not at all? So I would have to enter the arena with blue weapons from a heroic instance, right?

There's an addon included that changes font, you can disable it in the settings but I can't remember which addon it is

dont think thats the point of the video at all you could quite literally just get full honor gear, then when season comes out just que & cap (and Blizz buffed the conquest so its going to be incredibly easy to get arena gear)- (Of course if you want to be minmax, some classes might want 1-3 PVE items for their BiS, but thats only some classes) Pretty sure the point of this was more or less to show u how to get prebis/guide when you first hit 85 IF your wanting to put the extra effort to do it while the season is still down for a week, your not forced to "farm your ass off". s9/s10 are known for being super easy to gear.

@@shadowbanned3044You are correct, however… They removed PvE to PvP in Shadowlands just not many people remember. You can BIS with PvP only ever since SL S1 and it has been amazing! - Duelist every season (Davinshki - Stormrage) People need to give things a shot!

@@MrAndMrsReVamp Technically you could say PvE was required since legendaries were mandatory. There was also a short period of time where some trinkets were broken but those got fixed quick. But ye, overall it started in Shadowlands if you wish.
