Finally this series has returned! It was really digestible and informative. I think though you should remake most of the "So you want to play" with this, most of them are year old, a lot of bonuses and units have changed, the meta has changed... is a lot of work but I think it could provide a lot of quality guides in the end.

Thank you so much for the guides. I like videos like this because the games updates can alter the usage rate of certain civs tremendously, and as a player that plays off and on its hard to completely understand why. Then looking up guides you get videos from years ago when certain changes weren't implemented. Really looking forward to trying them out now after remembering how Meme worthy their UU was on launch.

My strat for the Bohemians- Fast castle and start getting out knights. Then get halberdiers and gunpowder. Create as many rams as you can, and garrison units in them to make them faster. That way, against archers, the gunpowder will survive and won’t take as much attack. Get to imperial as fast as you can and get cavalier, and then create multiple archery ranges First, attack with cavaliers and halberdiers. Then, when you feel like it, drop a castle with. Under holes next to the opponents base and start pumping out gunpowder and Hussite wagons to finish them off.

Super niche but you can use the food monks late game as a siege to clean up buildings similar to rams, by shift q a group with theocracy around multiple buildings and sending a group of halbs together, you might be able to trade a group of monks for a few houses or production buildings with forward gather point

The ingame model is based on the most famous czech (bohemian) castle Karlštejn :) it isn’t really historically accurate as the castle looks this way since its 19th century reconstruction, but the attention to detail is lovely

I have this strategy with Bohemians: Wall up and get to the castle age with about 40 Vills and 3 to 4 archery ranges. Once in castle age, build university and get chemistry ASAP. Then pump out around 20 hand canoneers and shred enemys TCs and everything. I call this Bohemian dream. Also write: "So anyway I started blasting." to chat.

I have another video idea for you: Matchup Charts (probably per Map) In fighting games, each character has a matchup rank against every other character when played perfectly (+3 for an easy win, +2 for clear win, +1 win, 0 for equality, -1 for a loss, -2 for a clear loss and -3 for a hard loss). This could be done for every civ in AoE2 as well. So you could go over each civ and their matchup against the other civs and maybe also give tips on how to play the matchup. For example: I played with persians on hideout against celts and thought the whole game on how to counter heavy siege + halbs. I had no idea, so I lost the match even though I had a way better eco. In hindsight, onager + bbc + hand cannon could work, but I'm still not sure if that's gonna cut it.

Would you do one for the Celts? I feel Celts really fall off hard if the game is forced to imp where they don't have the trash and the cav is hampered by missing last armor and bloodlines plus archers missing last range.
