Great video Joanne as always !!! I will share this video with my students this morning. The LARGEST GRANT PROVIDER in the world is the United States government. ALL nonprofits even foreign-registered nonprofits should be registered with (SAM) or the U.S. Government contract office to participate in grants.(gov) solicitations. The U.S. Government provided over $500 billion in grants worldwide and another $300 billion in fee-for-service program revenue to nonprofits. The grant money came from almost all US Government agencies. Ex:(NIH, NSF, DOD, USAID, DARPA and etc.).

Great tip, as always Wayne! As a Canadian, I appreciate it for our US subscribers and viewers. Here is Canada, we have CIP and CFEP grants from our government 💚

@@CauseSpecialist Canadian nonprofit and for-profit organizations can register in the United States and acquire US Government grants, registration is FREE. In fact, many Canadian nonprofits are exempt from registering with the IRS to be charitable organizations here in the United States And those who find it hard to get charity status in Canada can apply for the same status in the United States without having an address in the U.S.

@@CauseSpecialist Yes, Canadian companies are allowed to apply for U.S. government grants and they are also allowed to register charitable organizations in the U.S. if they wish. And thank you, you just made my classroom assignment easier for the day. The American IRS and CRA have an agreement on cross-border nonprofits and registration.
