to be honest I'm recently fell in love with the gyaru style and it's history resonated with me alot, i live in a country where people are desperate to look more pale to the point where one of the most high demand soaps is one that makes yourself white and all the skincare brands promise to whiten your skin, and lets just say alot of people's insecurites stem from colorism because they've been taught by society that "dark skin = ugly" and "white = pretty", i myself, was lucky to be born with naturally pale skin, however when i got a tan for the first time, i genuinely felt so confident, it's like i fell inlove with myself and found a style that resonates with me, I've seen so many beautiful girls with tan skin who's unfortunately affected by this massive problem, they all asked me the same question or the compliment me all the same "I love your paleness!" "Whats your skincare routine?" even literal strangers have came up to me and told me that, so when i grow up and get away from my conservative family i want to dress in the yamanba or manba style and go against the beauty standards that has been affecting so many girls and guys, i won't let any societal expectations wear down my confidence or take away what makes me and potentially others feel beautiful, and if i can atleast inspire one person to do the same, then that's enough to keep me going! while it's less of a problem today than the last decade, I'll still dress up gyaru because it's the style that i fell inlove the most and made me feel the most beautiful and confident, i wish to inspire people to do the same

I’m personally a gyaruo myself and I’m currently ame kaji and I switch between that and goshikku. I’m working my way up to Yamanba though so wish me luck haha!!! Anyways, I LOVEEEE this video. Hope that this gets popular and reaches people who claim they are of such / enjoy gal but then hate on the ‘-anba’ styles 🙏🙏

Acurate but a few corrections! (From a gyaru) -banba is a subversion of manba, manba cane first -kogal isnt actually ment to be a a style, its just meant to repersent highschool gyarus -yamanba and gunguro are NOT dead! In fact, lots of POC prople have adopted the style! (Though i am white, im a manba myself) Thats it! Thanks for covering us gals!!

I would say to try out whatever makeup is the most appealing to you! I see a lot of kogal gyarus wear ganguro or banba style Gyaru makeup, so it really depends on what you’d want to try out more! 🌺✨

Sure! 🐰I’d say that depending on what sub style you’re into though, you might like to do slightly different activities! Decoden, Karaoke, Purikura and ParaPara are probably the most popular activities that most Gals enjoy doing 🌺🌈✨
