If you are a corded guy, then you are a corded guy. Nothing wrong with that. But while its not really worth bothering on a $20 pair of cordless clippers from your drug store, you can replace those batteries. If you spend the money on good clippers, the batteries last a long while. But if for some reason, they dont seem to be taking a charge anymore, replacing it is pretty simple on the higher end ones. On the Wahl 5 Stars, you just pop one piece open, undo a screw, open casing. Then you just unplug the old battery and replace it with a new one off amazon or something. Those clippers will last years and years. For something like my own beard, id rather not have to deal with a cord
