If you are 16, you really have infinite time compared to some of us, bro. Start fckn now, do 40min of work 6 days a week and you will be a monster in two years :)
@charliemendez99917 жыл бұрын
I am 30yo started from January. I am in for 3 months now doing 1 hour of beginner progression of push up, pull up, crunch, etc 6 days a week. I can feel my body strength and control increased, body posture improved. So, just start now and no need to think too much nor listen to your thoughts.
@tvaholicsquidney7 жыл бұрын
you have plenty of time if you are only 16 years old, most gymnasts start at like 2, I only started a few years back when I was 21ish as I can't exactly remember when I started but when I started I wasn't able to do a push up now I can at least do 10 in one go, I don't train every day like people suggest otherwise I'd probably be able to do around 20+ in one go, just start small and do like push ups on your knees and then build up to doing them on your feet and you will soon be doing a lot more than you ever thought you could :)

@water95846 жыл бұрын
It's never too late to start again? I quit 2-3 years ago. I was so good and just stopped. Anyway, I don't exactly know why... Perhaps because I don't like to have that much humans around me who are watching me critical the whole time. In this business or in my group were so many envious mates.. I didn't have a lot of friends as well. They all got better than me when I took a short break. And since then I didn't have any motivation so I just stopped. Now I'm sitting here, 3 years later and wish I never stopped. I wish I would still do sports. Everyday I think about starting again, or do another kind of sport like Parkour. I feel so unsporty and I don't want to feel this pain, when trying to get flexible or muscular again. I have no motivation, but I want it. I'm afraid of all of those people who would look weird at me again. Furthermore, most of the people starting gymnastics are very young (like me). So I wouldn't find people at my age who are starting because they are all very good already. But the longer I wait, the more difficult it gets for me to start with sport again. But I just don't know how. :/ I think it's too late.
@taimaishu996 жыл бұрын
check out Lachlan Walker's youtube (he has content with Nile too) he is very tall and started very late for a gymnast. you see his whole journey on learning new techniques and its formatted very well as a series with good production and build up he wont likely be winning gold at the olympics but thats 99.999...% of the population. its still inspirational to be the best you can be / be a better version of yourself everyday

Damn son, 38 strict toes to bar. What a little guy! I want to do gymnastics instead of crossfit too. This look a lot more like something I would love! Also are there guides for excercises such as muscle ups, front lever and over lots of time the iron cross in your bible for the 1 time buy only? Thank you for these videos, so fun to see

I think every kid should be made to do gymnastics from 7 year old until they're 14. It's starts a kids life exposed to a healthy lifestyle. I did gymnstics when I was 11 up until I was 19. I wish I'd have started it sooner to be honest but I'm so glad I did it when I did looking back. I think it has improved my health and has given me an extra 10 years on my life.

I wanted so much to, Nadia C was a big deal when I was young. We were so poor we could no afford food often, gymnastics was a dream. I taught myself what I could, splits, cartwheels, forward hand spring that sort of thing. I think gymnastics are great at teaching flexibility, strength, endurance and so much more.

I dont think so. It stunts growth way to much. Simple bodyweight exercises and sports is enough. This is just too extreme and not natural.

People keep wondering how the 13 year olds kids are so ripped. It's called passion. The word "Passion" is so overused that it has lost its significance. People say "I'm passionate about ABC". No, I don't think you are. When people are truly passionate about something they stand out amongst people who stand out. Training day in and day out. That is how they are ripped.

At the age of 13 it is not normal to be as "ripped" as them, without going through puberty, people are going to question this

Hey man I think this video was really neat, and you seem to be a great role model for not only these kids but to anyone watching your channel. Its good to see people like you teaching the next generation the importance of taking care of your body and being strong mentally and physically. Quick question about your body-bible, can I use that if i'm not a gymnast? It seems like something I could use to learn advanced calisthenic exercises like handstand variations and the muscle up. Thanks and keep up the good work!
@NileWilsonGymnast7 жыл бұрын
Hey mate, the body bible is perfect for you!! Launching a new site in a week or so which has not only a handstand programme but a complete breakdown for the muscle up and planche! You'll love it!!
@erice.stewart30207 жыл бұрын
It's nice taking care of the body, but the narcissism isn't necessary? I don't understand these generations now, and thank God I'm not growing up now anymore. I was and it was like that at that time, it's very difficult. You'll learn later in life that it's not necessary and a distraction to what you want to achieve in life. It's not necessary. Just achieving your goals. If these guys could do what they want without posing, acting quirky or primping all of the time...that'd be something. I hate watching a bunch of grown guys act like girls and attention whores in front of a camera. It's not about that - and I'm not talking about these boys, but the regular gymnast guys that do this show.
