I did 28 chin ups in 7th grade and was proud to do that because a girl did 27. LOL. I wish we had gymnastics for males back in the 80's in regular school because I would have been good I think. Back then, you needed to be discovered and sponsored or start out with money, because regular school didn't offer gymnastics to males, only females. I am so glad to see this because it shows me the world might be better now :)

@jamielannister3627 6 жыл бұрын
Arda Arsen ACER Yeah exactly, it all depends on your weight. The guys in this video all probably weigh less than 150 pounds, so 40 is still very impressive but not ground-breaking. For your weight of 110 kg (that’s at least 230 pounds) 20 is equally impressive.
@deathcarousel

Jamie Lannister it definitely doesnt depend on weight, my friend is like 30kg and hes 13 and cant do a single one. And then theres me, i weight 56kg and i can do 17. Well, i mean if youre overweight then thats a differet story

what a dumb comment... it depends what is functional for the individual, lets say because of my job or lifestyle i have to lift heavy things often, in that scenario weightlifting would train functional strength. in fact bodybuilding or cutting are the only kinds of working out that arent functional in some way.
