They are very light and what they are doing is much more about balance and technique, than it is about strenght. Let's see them to bench press, deadlifts or weighted squats. Spoiler alert: they'll do rather badly.

I used to think I was pretty fit when I did a 8 second straddle planche and probably tore a few things. THEN HE DOES IT FOR 28 SECONDS.

Also, remember they did a "max" handstand hold prior to it! The muscles used in planche are (almost) the same as on HS! That really is crazy! Also, keep in mind they're all rounders. Makes you think just how much time can a ring specialist get.

I did 28 chin ups in 7th grade and was proud to do that because a girl did 27. LOL. I wish we had gymnastics for males back in the 80's in regular school because I would have been good I think. Back then, you needed to be discovered and sponsored or start out with money, because regular school didn't offer gymnastics to males, only females. I am so glad to see this because it shows me the world might be better now :)

Oliver Rodriguez chin up are a supination grip (palms towards you - utilises more biceps, closer grip). And pull ups are pronated grip (palms away - utilisess larger lat muscles, wider grip). Totally different exercises using different muscles.

what a dumb comment... it depends what is functional for the individual, lets say because of my job or lifestyle i have to lift heavy things often, in that scenario weightlifting would train functional strength. in fact bodybuilding or cutting are the only kinds of working out that arent functional in some way.

icynok Brinn is 165cm 62kg, Nile is 166cm 60kg, Jay is unknown but probably similar to the other two. These guys are shorter than I thought. I thought they would be at least 175cm.

Mild gargle Elite gymnasts tend to be short. Makes it easier to maneuver in the air when you don't have long limbs.

I hope kids still do this kind of thing. We used to do challenges like these every spare second. I'm certainly not fit now, but watching this stuff I realize how fit I was much of my young life. XD

He is of slimmer build so he is more lean but weaker, yes. Some are blessed with more muscle mass, others with higher stamina although everyone can work at that and others with lower bodyfat percentages so yes they are generally considered better looking because of a higher visibility of all the individual and smaller muscles. But thats life.
