the nighthawk is a beast I neve had one but I had a friend who was a linux man that would not buy anything else after that. He had like 7things running on it smoothly mostly laptops no hiccups only when the IS sucked lol

I wish we had this redundancy in Iraq in 2009. All our network files, llc, got deleted so we had to use slow 14k modem to download them all. Thank god the man knew what it was, i was a radio chief then lol

I have unraid on a Dell r730xd with my plex media files, I have a HP G4 800 mini with Intel 8500T that I use to host PMS (windows currently) I have tried & tried to get the G4 (with ubuntu installed) as the Media Server but I can never get Plex to see the unraid shares when i’m trying PMS on Linux - HELP Me!! I hate windows so much!

I think RAID-5 (striping with parity) should be a target minimum for a home setup. I went from 5 to 6 (dual parity) to UnRaid. Even still I have multiple copies of the critical data that I cant stand to lose on separate drives and a smaller UnRaid machine at my house. Good video and info!!! 👍🏽
