my folio case lastet only 3 months then it started deteriorating from all 4 edges... it got smoothly replaced by the paperlike support team... unfortunately, the second case I got is currently experiencing the very same deteriorating after only 4 months... thats what I call poor qualitiy

I’m glad they replaced it, and it’s quite surprising that the second one is doing the same. Which iPad are you using this with?

How come you got the magnetic ESR version and not the ESR non-magnetic paper like screen protector? I am currently using that and I did also purchased the PAPERLIKE but I am holding off on installing it since the ESR came with two screen protectors.

I liked the magnetic version from ESR because it could be applied on top off their glass screen protector giving you a balance of using it when you want to. I did not try the non-magnetic version.

06:06 How happy are you with the screen protector? It reduces the picture quality by a lot, in my opinion...

With all matte screen protectors, it's a trade off between texture and brightness. That said, it's much better than the first generation Paperlike.

The paperlike folio literally offers the worst bang for your buck in my opinion. Much higher price than others like ESR one and without extra functionalites, like for example the magnetic viewing angle adjustment in landscape mode of the official Apple folio
