Watched the whole thing and really appreciate when companies take the time to go through things in detail. It helps those that like to tinker and DIY, but also helps those of us understand the scope of the work if we buy it direct from y'all to appreciate the effort that goes into it. I plan to reach out to y'all directly to buy one already assembled and ready to rock and roll soon.

I bought all of these upgrades, but I forgot a few and placed a separate order. They recognized the email and combined the order and refunded me the money for the second shipping payment. Then they emailed me the day after everything was delivered to ask if everything made it and there weren't any defects. I love this company. The parts are really well made too.

I bought a KEL-TEC on the advice of a good friend - he said it makes a great Bug-Out bag addition, and he was right. I purchased a new Kel-Tec Sub 2000. Immediately purchased all the M*CARBO replacement parts. Watched the video while waiting for the parts to arrive. Then watched the video during the tear down. Even though I am expereinced in AR-15 armoring, it's always kinda scary when you take apart a new gun, like when you separate the grip sections, and stuff "springs" out at you, or just becomes untensioned ! This video is superb, every single take apart, and re-assembly issue is noted, and addressed. From my experience: After polishing the barrel end, I used a barrel cleaner, and it took alot of cleaning to get the inside of the barrel with a mirrored finish. It was superbly dirty from the factory. This whole project is one of these, "Since you have it all apart, you might as well , , ," And that is correct. You have got the gun stripped down to parts, you might as well polish (and lube) all metal to metal contact points. The amount of polish and felt polishing tips are well used if you do the entire inside of the gun. Well worth the time, all the action, and safety and trigger are "warm butter" smooth. The bolt and the recoil weight were fairly scratched, and grooved for a new gun. This is because there are sharp edges inside the butt stock tube/action tube. I used both fine emory cloth, and a fingernail sander to smooth out each internal opening/cut-out area, and I did not change the shape or remove a lot of metal, just smoothing the inner edges. Had to use 400 wet/dry on the recoil weight because the scratches were so deep. After cleaning up the recoil weight with sandpaper, I then proceeded to polish out the areas of concern. I did not polish the entire weight, just about the top three inches and the bottom edge - again anything where there was metal to metal contact, was polished. Compared to the video (and I realize the video is a couple of years old), my flat trigger did not come with a "spacer" and nor was one needed. Also the muzzle brake can with a concave spacer, but not a nut, and not a wrench. When I polished the end of the barrel, I masked off the end, and ran a towel around the entire thing so that I did not have to "clean off" all the plastic parts when I was finished that job. The integrated, tool-less locking pin was a challenge - but only because it's hard to compress the recoil spring with your bare hands! Put on your Mechanicx gloves and you are good to go ! The KEl-TEC hand grip (trigger side of gun) opens into 2 halves. Where it meets (the seam), has a little extra plastic flash leaving a sharp edge - after all the internals were removed, I put the halves together and used the emory board (fingernail file type), to shave that excess plastic away from the grip area, and make it smooth. This will assist the grip installation by allowing the grip material to lie flat across the gun's seams. The M*CARBO parts are super high quality (unlike the rest of the gun). The website worked great, my parts arrived in a timely manner, and all the instruction vids are excellent. Nice to work on a project with a FULL VIDEO to reference, instead of some of the more limited videos of other manufacturers. Great addition to my bug-out bag, and I thank everyone a M*CARBO for doing a great job on this KEL-TEC SUB 2000 Thanks Again !!

@@selectsovereigntydefendlib9884 Went very well! And all the upgrades made it much easier to shoot. I spent the extra time to polish more than they suggested, if it was metal on metal, it got polished. It's definitely got a cult like following, people love or hate it.

Select Sovereignty *Defend Liberty* Man, that sucks, sorry. There are some small parts in those bags, they do ship quickly, so there’s a positive. Sure you can use a drill, might be a little cumbersome on the smaller parts, just take your time. I spent a couple of evenings after work to just polish pieces, but I did go overboard. Made it through the entire video. In all honesty, I was watching a video on the Ruger 357 GP 100 last night and dozed off. I woke up to your video in the pre dawn. Sometimes it’s the best way for me to sleep and not have nightmares. I’m sorry, I guess I deployed one or two too many times so I find it soothing to sleep listening to intricate reviews or technical 2A builds. Thank you for your video. My brother, it's 2024 and I bought the steel ramp, and steel pins/bolts. I put it off for the longest time cause this is probably one of the more intimidating firearms I ever saw. I've worked on sigs, berettas, 1911s, m&ps, etc., but this one intimidated me for some reason. I bought the muzzle break, heavy charging handle, rubber cover, butt pad and those were pretty easy, but I put off the ramp and pins/bolts off for about a year. I finally followed your video step by step and after messing up a couple times, I finally got the confidence to disassemble and assemble it. Repetition is a great teacher, ha! I may even install the rest of the MCARBO kit myself like the trigger, trigger guard/fold lever, etc now that I know how the firearm works, but ill still reference this video in a pinch. Thanks for this highly detailed video!

Watched it snap-to-tail. As a former instructor, I give you an excellent rating. Not just for the very detailed explanations, but also for the "insider tips" based on your personal hands-on experience. I've had a Sub-2000 for over a year now & can't wait to do all that you did in this video. I love Keltec's innovations & affordable price points, and M-Carbo's engineering, designs & enthusiasm. One question I comment about the m-lok handrail\guard: inserting those rubber strips to protect hands from barrel heat will also block educe barrel cooling by restricting airflow & radiant heat discharge. Any feedback if this actually happens & potentially can be an issue with high volume shooting? Thank you.

Thanks. Excellent work with the camera, edits, and explanations. I'd have never gotten through it by guessing at some of the crucial parts. Nearly lost the sear spring across the room but I got lucky just before giving up after 30 minutes. A trick I used for trimming the bolt tube cover was to pull it onto a 3/4" pvc pipe and trace the line by pressing an exacto blade into it. I hope the thing stays in place though, I'm one of the weirdos that likes my buttstock on the #3 setting. So, after about four hours of doing the trigger kit, feed ramp polishing, bolt tube cover, muzzle device, two-finger charging handle, and RDL, I think I'm happy with it. Test fire next weekend.

I made it! Thanks for putting this together. Makes it so much easier following along when you elaborate clearly and edit the way you have. Amazing job brother 👏🙌👍

This was a great video and I'm glad you went through everything thoroughly and explained in detail the various parts! I just ordered my S2K and will be getting it tomorrow! I plan on taking it to the range the same day and I will be ordering some of these parts from you in the near future. I've seen a good number of reviews(both on YT from other channels as well as online reviews from the average joe) and have seen A LOT of good praise!

Like now you have all the mods together, added polishing on the trigger and sear was great, now I see I have to some polishing to do when I do the hammer bushing. I saved it as I know at least one new Sub 2K owner that will want my help, Also great for a full cleaning to help you put it back together, I watched it all just as refresher, Great Job Chris

Watched the whole video Chris! Great job brother! Love to see a fellow Veteran succeeding in the civilian world! Keep up the good work! Ordered my “All in one trigger kit”. Can’t wait to do the install! Also can’t wait to mess up the kitchen table with my Dremel and Flitz! RLTW!

Yep, I'll be messing up the kitchen table tomorrow. My wife will be upset I'm sure, but it'll be worth it.
