I was one of the people that found Korean skincare after trying their sunscreens. I think Korean products are above western products in everything from ingredients, texture, elegance, etc, that my day and night routines are basically Korean products as I only use prescription Vitamin A, CeraVe SA cleansers for face and body as it cleans my pores, and Gold Bond retinol body lotion.The reason being I have extremely sensitive skin and with Korean products my skin doesn't get irritated. The feel of their products is soft, hydrating , nourishing, innovative ingredients, and the price is budget friendly. Due to my skin sensitivity I usually had to use Shiseido or Estee Lauder which are not budget friendly meaning I had to use the products sparingly when I could buy them. I'm so glad that channels like yours exist which shows Korean products to people around the world. Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤

My first Korean skincare, a couple of years ago, was Missha Time Revolution Red Algae Treatment Essence which I purchased at TJ Maxx. I had heard/read how Korea stressed the importance of Essence as the first step after cleansing but always figured that's just a sales ploy, I don't need that. I finally took the time to research Essence and discovered the benefits of deeper penetration of all your other skincare products. That info got me hooked. I'm never going to be w/o Essence or the other many wonderful Korean skincare products that r part of my daily routine. Thx Rob for emphasizing their benefits.

Korean Flag . Sorry. Can’t get it in. I use the VT. Every night. 100. I just boosted my retinal from The Ordinary to tje Enprani 8x. When the patent ran out, medik 8 jumped on it. So I started with twice a week, in those nights I skip the VT reedle Shot. However I purchased the VT reedle 50 and use this every morning. In the days I use the Ordinary I still use the VT reedle shot 100. At this moment I use the Enprani every second night. Same same. In a week or two I will put it every night and will also combine it with the reedle shot 100. The Numbuzin 1 powder I did not find it. Yet. Will check on your links. The eye patches I am already onboard. After I finished my other Vitamin C, I will certainly try that. Did you try 16:07 16:07 VT PDRN? KR ❤

For my sensitive problematic skin korean skincare has been a complete godsend. And the affordability is to die for. I have found some remarkable western brands, usually from reliable Boots and Superdrug research fellows and own brands, as well as few indie brands. But overly fragranced, too potent products is a huge no, no for me. Asian skincare for life now. ❤

Korean skincare has truly transformed my skin, but to elevate my skincare routine further, I've started incorporating some Western products. One such example is Cacelim - Professional Serum. Although it comes in a small bottle and is quite pricey, it works wonders. You only need to use it once a day and just two drops are enough. It would be fantastic if you could review a Korean product that delivers similar results.😘

🇰🇷 + 🇯🇵, I love both Korean and Japanese skincare! You dont hear anything about Indian and Chinese brands 🤔, For me my gateway was the Snail Mucin by Cosrx.
@MadAboutSkin2 ай бұрын
I think the issue is that there is a lot of doubt about the quality and safety in Chinese cosmetics because of the many scandals which that country has seen in the past 10 years with contamination.. India has some great brands but because of the countries difficult trading laws many of them are not available in the west which is a shame.. I love Japanese skincare too and need to do a video on it.. love you x

Hi Rob, Congratulations on finishing the unpacking. I'm a bit mixed when it comes to skin care innovation. Korea 🇰🇷for innovation at an affordable price, but if my budget would allow, I'd probably be using Western brands like NIOD and Medik8. I'm so excited for the MAS relaunch as your products give me that solid skin care base without risking irritation or breaking my budget, so that I can cautiosly experiment with new trending, sometimes expensive products. ❤

Hello this is off topic but I need your input. I was about to try the Regimen Lab Level serum that you’ve mentioned before. But I noticed something odd on their website while I was taking their skincare recommendation quiz. I answered one question selecting the option to say I’ve had hyperpigmentation marks for more than 3 months and it replied with this: “Spots in the skin are usually made of pigments that are inside cells in the upper layer of the skin (Stratum corneum). As your skin renews itself, these cells with pigments in them eventually slough off and go away. But if your skin barrier is weak, pigments fall through the skin to the dermis where they get eaten by our immune cells. Once pigments are inside the cells, they can’t be removed as these cells do not undergo the normal renewal cycle. They are like tattoos and only laser can help remove them.” …..Ummm I’m not a scientist or skincare expert, but that sounds a bit dubious to me. Is that just the marketing team taking some liberties or is there truth to that claim? Pigments “fall through”, get eaten up by immune cells, and create tattoos? I’m confused 😅

It seems while K-beauty has some impressive milestones or Jbeauty, I am not conveinced yet I miss on cosmetics neceissarily. But they nail down moisturizing options , which i feel western beauty is inexcusable numb. And relief\calming formulations. I quote dr idriss check the forest not the tree. @@MadAboutSkin if you go to their official website and go to the Bean Essence product page they have it illustrated. I’ll just copy/paste the description they have below. I tried it last night but it didn’t seem to rub off for me. You’re supposed to wipe or wash off with water afterwards. “mixsoon Bean Essence is suitable to use for both morning and evening skincare routines. When using it as an exfoliating essence, apply the essence after toning and before other essences and creams. Recommended to use 2-3 times a week. When using it as a hydrating essence, apply the essence after the 3-layering essences and before creams. Suitable for daily use.”

Does pantoenic acid not get along with any other ingredients?
@MadAboutSkin2 ай бұрын
Hi hun, it actually goes with everything which is great.. the only thing I wouldn't put it in would be sunscreens as you dont want to mess with the formation and protection but you can add it to anything else :) love xx

I would like to hear from your comments about some new skincare technologies such as MNM, Exosome, Incord Stem Cell…….. etc. These seems to be getting heated up in Korea & Japan lately.

We need to get you to 1MM subscribers. Everyone like and subscribe! I basically gave up on American skincare, especially sunscreen. The US is pathetic in this area. Love Korean skincare. Keep them coming. I know body skincare isn't your speciality but would love your thoughts on body care for dry, dry body skin. I recently found an American bodycare, I'm loving Prequel. Do you have access to this brand? If so would love your thoughts.

Hi I thought I'd mention that The Ordinary are bringing out a body care range this month. I don't know the details but I'm sure there will be a review soon. Also, Rob mentioned that you can add MAS Oil to some moisturisers for the body. It might be worth doing a search on his posts. Good luck.
