Fantastic, of all the things on a Lambretta drum brakes defeat me with the bearings. Well done for doing it!!!!!! When you put the bearings back is there a step or whatever in the hub casing which you put the bearing up to?

Rob, You say that if you have a TV175 hub you don't have to find an upgraded back plate. Is there a problem with a series 2 Li150 back plate? and, if so, what is the best back plate to replace it with?

I couldn’t knock the bearing out on the outside, any ideas, it’s a GP/ DL hub. I got the inner bearing out and sleeve quite easily.

i don't no if you no but circlips only go one way round and they are brake shoes thanks paul

Just curious, is there a reason you are changing the axle? Is it just for safety sake?

No reason. Someone asked med to do a full hub overhaul and show the differences between the different types. I have seen them with buggered threads and bent but this one was fine. They are also quite cheap so I bought the full overhaul kit.
