Pretty good primer. Worth noting on the normals section is his command normal of back H too. It's not getting much love but it's amazing for stuffing and making some ground to air combos more reliable. Thanks for doing these.

@FCSugaFree he doesn't need it. He has good anti-air tools, and many ground-based bnbs. It also makes him more unique.

@FCSugaFree Scratch that, let his launcher otg into launch, he has so many ways into hard knockdown that this would solve his problem. Solves the launcher problem and makes him more unique.

First off, if you are picking a team just for the assists, you are either building a team around one char or failing at the team build right out of the gate. And it is very similar to akumas assist, might not have some frame data or whatever. And i have accepted that i dont have the assist...im wondering why its not on the list...for the 3rd TIME SAYING THIS. And ive seen very good strats with trading out Wright in TA mode.

@stryflyer While you're at it, why don't you ask them to make his launcher like Doctor Doom's? He doesn't really need an "OTG launcher" since he has his OTG rekka. As for it only hitting grounded opponents, I also think it makes him unique, and if the f+H actually a decent anti-air, and can be combo-ed into jumping attacks, it's not that bad. IF ANYTHING, they should give him an air attack that cause ground bounce, wall bounce, or hard knock-down. So people respect his jump-ins.

eh the combos are not optimal, like in combo #2, you dont want to do the dragon fang before the super because it uses your wall bounce. after the super, you can either press jab + assist then do a godlike leftright mixup or get an airthrow, or link a standing H into another fists of fury which kills most of the cast in one combo you never want to end your combos in the DP super unless its going to outright kill the character (because the DP does slightly more damage)

@Petard01 I just dosent fit this game though. It is a HUGE issue when a character as a shitty launcher. The fact that Iron Fist cant get anything from hitting an opponent in the air is enough emphasis to say that he is a ground based character.

Why would they give him a regular standing S? That would distract from the fact that he is a ground combat ace in this game. You WANT to keep the opponent grounded and his standing S emphasizes that point

Also, if i herd one assist was just as good as another...plus i come in with a powered up character instead of a plain one (for the sake of argument...with low as shit health)...yeah...i think that decision isnt too hard to make...Also you can spend just one meter...just denjin and raw tag...Not that hard. :P Bottom line...i was just wondering if Ryus assist was good for Iron Fist since i saw Akumas tatsu up there...wasn't expecting someone to get their panties in a bunch over a question.

But not everyone wants to play Akuma...some of us want to play Ryu. (imagine that...) The question was why not have Ryus tatsu on here in the first place. You could use it like Akumas tatsu without denjin...requiring no meter....plus if shit does go down, you have a Denjin ryu comming in...Im just wondering why its not even on the list. Also, you build meter so fast in this game, even faster with Iron Fist's green hands. Jusy sayin...

If you want to play Ryu, then fucking accept that you won't have Akuma's assist, not spend two meters to get another character's attributes. Having Denjin Ryu down as an assist character is like putting down Level 5 Frank West or Turnabout Mode Phoenix Wright. I'll say it again. If you want Akuma's assist, you can either to go into Denjin Mode and DHC into Iron Fist, taking two meters, or just choose Akuma. If someone just wanted the assist, what do you think they would've chosen?

@jck145 Really? Because its easier to type and easier to read and its universal to all systems. Which is quicker/easier to read? St.C ~ cr.C~ st.A, or standing heavy punch ~ crouching heavy punch ~ standing light punch. ABC seems a little easier to read to me......its cool though. Go play against good players and see how many of them will allow you to Denjin mode and raw tag in, and tell me how many times you win.
