Nice set up, I'm debating getting a VW transporter and getting a workspace set up in there. Not planning on doing full time in the camper but would still like a desk and maybe a portable monitor for some half days of work. Also some genuine feedback on the video, some end result footage nearer the beginning, let's people know why they should keep watching. But yeah great video, learned a fair bit 👍

Thank you for watching and the feedback. I will give that a try next time.

I like your monitor set-up from the ceiling. The table slide is an accommodating feature. I’m shorter than you appear to be. My suspicion is that table would be under my chin. I’m exaggerating … but not a lot!😁. Is the table height set by rossmonster? Great video!

Thank you for watching. I am 5' 9" in height. The table could be lowered if desired. It would require a small customization as the mount would go onto the angled part of the wall, but I would not see a reason why this cannot be done. Rossmonster is very flexible regarding customizations.

Traveling office, a great idea. Do you have a printer? How do you power your office components? A battery / inverter system or a portable power station? Solar and/or DC to DC charger? Thanks

I do not need a printer for my line of work (IT). I have 800ah of battery power, 1200W of solar, and a 3000W inverter. And a generator is on board as a backup as well.

That's a slick setup, I was definitely wondering what your solution was going to be after your last rig. Now that you've been in the Rossmonster for a bit, is there anything you miss from your previous build? Do you miss having more outside storage or does all the extra inside storage make up for it?

I have the two large storage boxes outside in the rear. You can see them in the tour video part 1. The seem to do the trick. I have only one item that I had previously in the outside storage of my rig and no real place for it yet. It's a Gazelle bug screen gazebo tent. I will either raise the dog platform inside the truck cab and see if it will fit there or probably transport it inside the shower. Another option is to store it on the bed right below the front-facing storage cubbies. Right now I do not need it as the bugs have mostly retired for the season, but come spring I will bring it along. TBD. And this is the only item that is bulky. Even the generator fits into the outside storage boxes.

Hello Christoph, thank you for the insights into your truck! I’ve been wondering for a while how you solved the challenge of working on the road. I think your solution is really well thought out and seems very comfortable to me. I have a question: when you edit videos on your laptop, which software do you use? I imagine that not every software might work due to the power requirements some of them have. Greetz from Germany

I use Adobe Premiere Pro. I run it on a Dell XPS 15 with 32GB of RAM and a fast processor. The laptop does great from that perspective. I am not compromising on that side of things due to power consumption. Schoenen Gruss nach Deutschland :-)

For so many reasons this is ridiculously amateur 😮
