You didn't even go over how to merge and it's limits. I'm unable to merge modules of the same type and rarity and ot makes no sense

is it better to farm for reroll shards in lower tiers that you can progress farther in or higher tiers that are not as deep? like i can get to just over 6k on t1 and around 1k on t9 which one would be better to farm for reroll shards?

Its better to farm shards on higher tiers because the base shards given are higher as your go up in tiers so you will makes more over the course of every 1000 waves. I wouldn’t focus on farming shards, as long as you upgrade the lab a bit you should be fine and not run into too many problems. Focus on running T1 wave 6k for coins and shards. 6k-8k is the sweet spot I like to keep my runs in. Also don’t farm T2 go straight to T3. Hope that helps!

@@PrimosTower why skip t2? I can get 6100 on t1 but 3300 on t2 and 2800 on t3. I blew a lot of gems early on trying to get the modules I wanted but I kept rerolling to try and get better stats as I leveled them up.

The increase in difficulty from T1 to T2 is one of the biggest due to the protectors and a lot of new players end up not doing as well on T2 so the rule of thumb is to just skip T2. If you’re not having trouble with farming T2 then by all means farm it! Make sure your cards are at a good place before you dump too many gems into modules. Having commons at level 6 is a baseline for investing in modules. Cards will give you a bigger boost to your gameplay!

@@PrimosTower yeah my cards are behind I have the modules that will work for now but most of my cards are 5star so I’m going to be dumping all my gems into that or at least 1600 every 2 weeks. I just wish I could find a good labs list of what needs to be done to what level before starting the next research… I feel like I have probably wasted a lot of time and resources in the labs

Solid plan, what are you researching rn? And what are you considering researching? Thing to focus early are are coins/kill, lab speed, game speed, health, regen, def %, perk quantity, perk bonus, and your Econ UWs! I forget the cost of most these so I hope they are affordable haha

To unmerge modules you need to reach Tier 8 wave 40 and that will unlock the unmerge modules research in the lab. After you research it you can go into the modules tab and unmerge from there!

So is the only way to get unique effects from purchasing with gems? There's no way to merge modules to get the unique effect?

Sadly the only way to get modules with unique effects is to purchase them with gems. Since only Epic modules and above can have unique effects you have less than a 2.5% chance pulling a module with a unique effect.

I’m still in the early game myself but I assume once you are using only modules with unique effects regular modules will just be used as cannon fodder for merging those unique effect modules.

@AllClouded when you are merging modules the module on the left will be upgraded and the modules on the right will be used for the upgrade. All sub module effects and unique effects on the module will remain.

For newer players I would recommend focusing on sub-module effects that will increase your economy like boosting your GT multiplier or increasing your coins/kill then I would focus on defense by increasing your defense % & defense absolute. Offense isn’t as important so you can worry about that later.

What are your thoughts on the upgrade +2% thorns? Is it worth it?

I don’t use it personally but I think it’s a good upgrade for either farming or tournaments. When combined with Plasma Cannon it can take out bosses with one hit and take out normal and elite enemies in one less hit.

So modules with unique effect can only be upgrade with the same module, the same unique effect ?

Yes but sometimes no. All modules have the same upgrade paths. You can see this by going to modules and hitting the button for more information. On the 4th tab it lays out what is needed for what upgrade. If you see an image of a module you need a copy of that module but if it’s just a circle then you can use any module of that type and rarity.
