Honestly to me this costume always felt like it was trying to invoke some Mortal Kombat 4 Scorpion vibes instead of the klassic UMK3 palette swap male ninjas vibes mostly due to how the mask and the belt around the waist is designed, the only real thing they were missing was giving the cowl more of cat-eared cowl look (Which I personally found to be a underrated cowl design for the male ninjas in my humble opinion).

Why is ermac not thorw a kenshi into a lava?

So, all of the ninjas now has Scorpion's alt costume but in different colors? Feels kinda weird. Sure, I know that back in the days all of the ninjas looked the same, but at least they didn't had a special design elements that was specifically made for one character. Thus taking one costume that was made for one specific character and putting it over others looks weird.
