ah man!! so many memories of my big bro and I playing this game arcade style, literally the game that highlighted my childhood and the reason for my love for MK. to be playing this game at 6 years old means you were playing in awe and wide eyed. also it means by 3rd or 4th stage the computer used to beat the shit out of me, always had a hard time fighting jade through her invincibility + run + combo while using subzero, all my money used to get finished, left me broke man haha, to see you @perganon playing this game like this, wow, all I could've ever wanted as that 6year old kid. with arcade joystick back in the day we had to hit each button, not sure how it is or can be setup with Xbox but what a masterpiece of a game, from the combos, to the character stances and fight styles to the sounds of combat and gameplay, and the concepts of fatalities, brutalities and there's even "mercy, friendship, babalities and animalities" if I remember correctly. freakin' Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. 🇿🇦🇿🇦

Fellow South African here and I've also got so many priceless memories of this game as a youngster. My older brother was a huge MK fan, he had this on N64 and then later he had MK on the Sega Saturn as well. He and his friends would also place bets for money or when things really got heated, they would suma play for mountain bikes and BMX's😂 Of course when the PS1 was eventually released and Tekken took over, I then became the one to beat lol memories yong🇿🇦

I didn’t know umk have this mode and I sure as hell can’t beat it. Back in the days I’d write all the moves combos and fatalities for all characters on sheet of paper and laminate with clear tape and bring it to the arcade to do it. Of course I had to read all the game magazines at the book store because I couldn’t afford them. I still know from heart Sindel and Karbal long combos
