The 80 topps henderson is a big card for the pop in 9 and down. Can you imagine if they would have had a tiffany or opeechee version? That would have been awesome

I got caught in this game with crazy inserts. Later in my collection of $100k came down to $500. Becareful guys. Bet on guys that you know are already HOFs like Stephen Curry.

I wonder what a psa 10 1980 topps Rickey Henderson rookie would go for. I know it would take the top spot if one had sold.

I question all grading companies that use Jewellers looped etc to grade a card. It should be done visually. I took one of my psa 10 cards. Realized hey I got better tools I can put it in my Leica microscope and look at all the dots to make photo, now it’s square pixels. Well my findings at 30x under two new glass plates the dots were obscured in some others like half moons , I can go on and on . Look at sides with a stereoscope at 20x and wow so much paper caverns etc. corners way out making my grade for this card a 4. See what I mean. I start my own grading company with out electronics to help. You are not looking at a gem stone like a diamond. Really many people rely on you for centering. Oh I imagine back then they made sure they printed perfectly square. I am an artist and what makes art so appealing to others is the small mistakes making it more valuable. A coin double struck and so on.

Where are the greatest pitchers like Nolan and Johnson. Nolan quit when he was 43 , Johnson much earlier and arm still 96%. I believe if JOHNSON WAS TO GO ANOTHER 10 years , he would have finished Nolan even though I loved both. Of these. Pitchers.

Lost me 40 seconds in when you called that 1987 OPC Canseco his rookie card…. It’s not. His 1986 topps traded is, and the other 1986 cards of his.

Perfect is not it, it’s the mistakes that make art much more expensive. A new generation is coming and these grading companies will be gone
