I would say "PVE" or "Leveling builds". Although primitive for you and probably allot of your current audience. I still think it would help you're channel by adding a few in for the masses to get the fever. With a moderate to robust group of new or returning players it can't hurt.@@thagipsy

Noob question. Your musket reticle is significantly larger than the one on my musket. Is that a setting? I can hardly find that teeny dot of a reticle in combat.

Hey lesguyse! That's not a noob question at all. Currently, New World doesn't have crosshair settings, but I totally get the struggle. They've tweaked the musket crosshair recently. Hey Ewokrs! Great observation! Those gameplay clips were captured right before Season 1 not long ago, when the crosshair style was different. We can't customize the crosshair in-game, although it would be a nice feature to have. Thanks for watching and let me know if you any other questions!

Wouldn’t diamond still be unoptimal vs full Ele aversion? Because 5 stacks of ele aversion is still less damage mitigation then 5x thrust emeralds and a 10% thrust protection amulet? Like 23% ranged ele mitigation vs 40% thrust resist? So elemental would still take the least impact of resist?

Hey Matthew! Thanks for the great question. in short, it's all about adapting to the current meta. If players on your server are mostly protected against thrust damage, then opting for an elemental gem with 150 intelligence will increase your overall dps output. However, if players are mostly protected against elemental damage, then a diamond would be the right choice for a sniper build. Early season 1 where players were highly invested in opals and flame protection, a diamond was the optimal choice. Now that the meta has shifted back towards thrust protection, it is probably better to swap back to an elemental gem. Let me know if you have any other questions or comments. Cheers 🎮

While the rapier is better for melee combat, the hatchet is better for survivability with this low-con sniper build, and for setting up combos from a distance with hatchet throws. When it comes to PvE, I usually switch things up and go for a melee build. The spear, hatchet, or great axe are my go-to choices, and I occasionally dabble with the bow for ranged DPS. Hey mh990! Welcome to New World! Don't let the rumors scare you away from trying the musket in PvP. While it did receive some adjustments and a nerf at the beginning of season 1, it's still a viable choice. The increased inaccuracy at long ranges can be mitigated by using the accuracy perk on the musket, although it does mean sacrificing a damage perk. However, for a sniper build like this, focusing on burst damage with additional damage perks like Enchanted or Keenly Jagged can provide more impactful results. Welcome to New World, hmongyaj! To get the legendary musket there are several ways. You can get it as drops from PVP rewards or elite mobs such as in mutated expeditions. You can also craft it or buy it on the trading post but that takes a lot of time and money. Hey Andrew! You're right! Ele aversion DOES mitigate detonate damage and most ranged elemental attacks even grav wells. It's a solid perk, but there are a few exceptions like most IG and VG abilities, and partially bows. A few opals on your gear are the way to go! 🛡️🔥

I agree dingledorp! The zoom was such a nice feature but melee andies and anti-musket protestors were complaining too much because they were not skilled enough to use the musket in the first place. For a 1-shot build with the blunderbuss you have a couple of great options. You can go for a blunderbuss and war hammer build or a blunderbuss and ice gauntlet build. Both builds work well in the current meta. Give them a shot and see which playstyle suits you best!
