A little hint to get refried beans or anything thick out of a can....open up the other end as well & then you can push the contents out. Works a treat & your nachos were insanely delicious, thank you for your great recipe video.

DUH...Why didn't I think of this! Making a sheet pan ahead and adding the cheese and toppings last. Not to mention that half of my family likes shredded, while the other half likes sauce cheese. Another Nacho Movie Night! Simple but right on time! Thank you!

My favorite option is both liquid cheese and shredded. I wonder what your family would think of that.

Thanks for sharing a super easy recipe to offer my fledgling chefs. My 4 year old cutie can handle all these steps with supervision and help getting nachos into the oven. The 12 year old is gaining her confidence; this looks like a great first recipe for her to try from Stay At Home Chef! My favorite is that this would also be easy to make in single serving size in our toaster oven. With all the nacho love around here, we could make a little extra ground beef & beans mix and get a day or two extra of self-sufficient lunches.

Broiling is better than baking, as it’s the heat from above that is fundamental in what you’re doing.
@Thestayathomechef11 ай бұрын
While broiling definitely works, we found in our testing that the cheese melts better and more evenly with our baking method.

This has been a battle between my husband and I for years. Our best solution is to use beef from his grandparents free range cattle ranch; second best is to use the lowest % fat we can get at our grocery store. If all those options fail, he'll literally take my portion out first and drain the grease, then the kids, and save his for last to keep as much grease as possible. I cringe but alas, he's cooking.
