Ultimate Northern Territory camping and 4x4 offroad location (fire cooking, fishing, 4x4ing)

Seven Emu Station was high on our bucket list for this seasons overlanding trip, camping up high on the cliff top campground overlooking the Robinson River, we have the best campsite to just chill, cook on the campfire and watch the crocs swim by, making this our home base we then explored that stations 4x4 tracks, fishing spots and attractions. This is a must do location guys, add it to your bucket list.

You need to try the oven upside down. That works a lot better for pizza and some other items.

ok I don't know that cooker, seems like a dutch oven to me, but why don't you set it on the fire / coals rather than just putting the coals on top. and moving the coals out of the fire?

It’s a spun steel camp oven by hill billy, just like a cast iron one but light weight, you can use the lid as a frypan and we cook in it on our gas, we love it. We find that cooking in the fire adds a lot more heat with a higher chance for it to burn.

Yep there were about 5 or 6 boats on the river. Definitely a great spot to take a boat
