The answer to Ben's "Too many wall move" problem is that he needs to use linear chassis instead of radial chassis. Linear only grabs stuff directly in front whereas radial will grab all connecting blocks around the chassis.

Or just use neither. It's easier to just use regular blocks and glue them.

The problem they have with Create is they think glue is the ONLY way things stick together so they overuse it far too much. As you said, a radial chassis will automatically 'glue' anything touching it.

On the Vault Hunters site all patch notes are always shown right there and usually given a reasoning as well. If you consider that "too much research" you are *extremely* lazy.

Punishment for Ravs: Remake his own belt and upgrade all belts to packs for everyone. If harry don't want to do it, it must be a glorp to do. Make Ravsy do it.

I don't play this but love watching. Can't you place a chest, or a shulker just to place your scav items for trading? Seems like toggling magnets and throwing them down is the most chaotic way to do it. :P

I have an idea for Ben-being the responsible one. You could carry a shulker in your inv just for item trading. Would make scavs smoother. 💖✨✨

Scavenger vaults need changed in my opinion. Either you need to be able to just see what your allies need or they need to make it so you just share an objective like every other vault. It'd be nice if it also told you how much of an item your allies have on them. So like say you have 10 paper and see your friend needs 12 to complete. They'd see on theirs that you have 10 and so they just need 2 more. I also don't like the fact that you have to search for a turn-in point.. I feel like it should be guaranteed to spawn in every room. You're already doing enough RNG with just getting the items themselves you shouldn't then have RNG on just turning them in. Just like in elixir vaults they increased the spawn chance of the exits by quite a lot.. I think it's like a 33% chance (1 in 3) now because you already had the RNG of completing and then you had more RNG on even finding the exit. It was stupid.

While watching this I realised they could all give 1 person every scav item. That person would then place their scav pouch on the ground and people could just take what they need.

@@Eventide215 I guess, but also they've already done so much to make the game less challenging and people just keep asking for it to be even easier. When things are guaranteed, then you lose the stress of "What if?" The whole point of games challenge yourself in a controlled environment. Not that your suggestion is the worst or anything, just that I see stuff like this every week and it piles up, you know?

Too late now since this is recorded in sessions but every time you enter and exit a vault a snapshot is made which you can access via the "/the_vault snapshot" command, they could've restored Rav's inventory to the state it was when he entered the vault.

I will keep saying this, but these guys (at least Barry and Duncan) need to play Path of Exile. That's the exact direction this modpack is going in and the depth of customisation and minmaxing and build variety that game offers is out of this world.

I always jump crit for tanky mobs, from 112 to 168 dmg, I just use abilities for crowd control.

I would 100% be fine if they cheated in the loot Ravs lost. I feel so bad that only a Yogscast guarantee could fix- I can’t imagine how Ravs feels.

Honestly same but I don't think it's even possible, like I doubt there's a way coded to retrieve items on the floor of an ended vault, that's why Barry way saying dying was better cos they could still get it back 💀

@@kane2742 Unless you can do it with a command (block) or something, I doubt there's a way to spawn VH items, or any mod items, with generated rolls/stats.

@@StrangelyIronic Probably not, but they could definitely spawn the key which is the main pain and I wouldn't be surprised if they can spawn some unrolled loot too. It's fine though - while I wouldn't blame them for spawning it after that, living with the pain and moving on is also a valid option.

Maybe the pouch's inventory is stored in a file like inventories and backpacks usually are? Does the vault's level file get deleted upon exit too?

Can I suggest an option to scav vaults? Drop a chest and everyone dump all their scav items into it then take what you need and after you all turn in you can break the chest

On the topic of Smalltown, although the enchanting table rendered a lot of Ped's work setting up auto-villagers obsolete (which must have stung, especially since that update came very soon after they invested heavily in auto-traders etc) it would still be worth looting several of the auto-villager and auto-feeder setups for the infinite resource loops they can provide - I think it will plug at least one or two of the production gaps this team has which the others didn't. Setting up a teleporter from their base to the nether mob farm could also be useful.

This would be especially good for when they have to run through his rooms. It nearly kills them every time because there's just such a massive pile of mobs.

But then one of the people in the vault isn't getting any loot? Killing the mobs doesn't do much and it's rare they need to go into his line

@@cassius7854 With the update, champion mobs actually do drop stuff. Also, you say it's rare but it's happened multiple times.

@@Eventide215 yea but Harry literally said champion mobs are the only ones he doesn't skip in his other series, I doubt he is here, and sure occasionally someone runs through Harry's line and the mobs are a bit of a pain, but I don't see how getting rid of those mobs is worth an entire other person worth of vault loot and exploration?

Now that its on KZbin its most definitely too late but there was a way to get the belt back. Vault hunters has a system that takes periodic snapshots of your inventory and creates a backup, you can look up the snapshots and use the timestamps to figure out which one you want and restore his inventory to that snapshot. again, too late to help with this problem but worth keeping in mind for the future, im sure this wont be the last costly mistake the lads make.

There's probably a snapshot mid-vault, or at least pre-vault, that you can use commands to restore Rav's inventory with the belt. And just cheat in an unidentified key if needed.

catastrophic vault f-ups, hm? my favorite was when a young adventurer by the name of harry got rolled by a cake pedestal. i can't remember if it was his vault tool or bag that he left behind on it, but it was brutal. fortunately, an admin was able to get him his item back. speaking of cake vaults, you guys should try doing one. personally i hate them, but it could be fun to mix it up.

feel like the boys need to get the new bags upgrade so its less glorpy for them to find most off all items. and placing down a normal chest near the tun in point and place it there would definetly help them a little bit then droping on the floor

You should just keep some chests in your bags, chuck one down at the table and dump all your extra scab items into it. Then people can take what they need and the last person can grab everything else.

If you hover the mouse over a bag and hit the open bag hotkey it opens the bag that's moused over, then press the hotkey again inside a bag to exit to your inventory. No reason to ever move bags around inside inventory or to hotbar.

I don't know if it is in the pack, but the mod Ender Storage's pouches would be perfect for trading items in a vault.

Wands replace shields or idols in your offhand to boost abilities (eg nova or the trident). I don't know much more than that tho

Harry is twice as fast, and is significantly less likely to die to the mobs he leaves behind. Knowing your limits is important in this pack, Duncan and Ben are simply applying that. Don't stretch yourself too far, or you will die in every vault and progress will be near impossible. Not completing is better than dying.

The only way to increase your limits is to push against them, and the long term play of the pack requires a ton of loot and vault runs. May as well get good and make it shorter.

The solution to Ben's door trouble is to simply just hover over one of the create blocks he's using for it with his mouse and hold w. It's insanity at how much they have used Create and never once read the tooltips to figure out the ponder system exists.

Why is dropping whatever is in your hand when you teleport even a mechanic?

It's not in your hand. He was moving it with the mouse. If you close the inventory while you're doing that then it throws it on the floor.

@@OrangeDog20 Yeah Harry explained it as being in your "mouse hand" which in Minecraft isn't considered as part of your inventory. It's in like a limbo between being dropped and the inventory. So what he meant is Ravs clicked on the belt to move it for some reason and as he left it just dropped because it force closes the inventory. Similar happens if you pick up an item in a chest then press esc before putting it down. It just drops on the ground. It is stupid that it happens but that's how Minecraft is coded. Can't really fix that.
