They already planned Hotwheels & Rock 'en Sock 'em Robots before the Barbie Movie was even finished. They basically took a bunch of stars into a hall displaying their most popular toys and told them to pick one they'd like to do a movie on. Apparently the CEO of Mattel saw what Marvel-Disney did and realized "We're no longer a toy company, we're an IP company." So yeah, they already learned the wrong lessons before they even knew what this one was going to be. Broey Deschanel has a great review that goes more into the subsurface than just "lol, they made fun of Mattel's board" on her KZbin channel

25:50 Fun trivia: the comedy "Hot Shots: Part Deux" has a scene where Charlie Sheen, as the Rambo parody MC, racks up over 1000 on-screen kills. They even have a kill counter in the corner, ranking it against other 80's and 90's action movies (such as The Terminator, Robocop, etc.). He earns a High Score, according to the display.

The music coming in at the reminds me of when on Radio 5 Live if a guest keeps talking and it's too close to the end of the segment, they start slowly bringing in the music as a subtle hint and to drown them out 😂

Movie with the highest death count I can think of: Hitchhiker's Guide to the galaxy. The entire universe, or at least the galaxy, is destroyed, then remade as an exact replica.

after looking it up myself, Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) apparently has the largest number of on screen deaths at 83,871, this number is boosted by the inclusion of the entire Nova Corps being on the casualty list. the same list I found also says that there are nearly 3000 deaths in total for Return of the King, though it doesn't say they are all on screen

The biggest death count in any piece of media I can think of is probably that one episode of Ben 10: Omniverse where the entire universe is annihilated by a doomsday device, and then Ben used the powers of his universal god alien to recreate it from scratch XD

hot wheels movies each racer is allowed to place a different part of the track down, aka loop de loop or wacky corner or hazzards, and obviously each racers has their own wacky racers style cars with diffferent things like harpoons or buzz saws oil slicks ect ect

TF1986 is good, but the two most recent films - Bumblebee and RotB - are also pretty good. They're far better than the Bayverse films (which I agree are just trash), since Bay had almost no (if any) creative input.

went to see oppenheimer and was very surprised when a dad with 2 young children (like 8 and 12 i would guess) walked in, so i guess the age minimums are more of a guide line.

The best part of Indiana Jones movies was the hunt for the treasure. Exploring over-the-top ruins and nazi bases while Indiana figured out how to use the history and culture of the area to solve puzzle and traps. Basically National Treasure, but it actually respected the myths and legends and didn’t try to tie everything into the United States Constitution or make it into a government conspiracy.
