By far the best rails I’ve found. Took a couple years of trying to get my hands on them and was worth the wait. Other wedgelock rails have those lightening cuts that make it a lot harder to accessorize especially on shorter builds. This rail with the built in steel qd points saves mlok space and is top notch

I did a 10.5 build, then started a 12.5 almost 2 months later. You're way out of my price range. So here's what I did. Aero - receiver set, BCG, adj. gas block and LPK Ballistic advantage - 12.5 carbine gas Vg6 - Delta flash hider JP trigger springs, Magpul K2 grip, A5 buffer tube, flatwire .308 spring, H1 buffer (with a spacer to function in the longer tube) and SBA3. On top is a .5 inch riser, the holosun 515bu and vortex 3x micro. 12" m-lok rail and m600 light. As smooth, fast and reliable as it is, I have zero complaints.

My original build that was “the only gun I need” last August. Ruger mpr...with a vortex strike fire 2. Gave that weak crap away and upgraded. Built myself a bcm 11.5 with a vortex pst, dead air sandman, and a couple odd and end...basically costing me close to 3k will all my stuff on it. I am happy at last and don’t really need another rifle and it’s too expensive anywa- Now waiting on my Triarc 13.9 gonna slap a vortex1-6 hd-e with geissele mount, and I am in tears wondering what happened to my once decent bank account. Mostly done on a “do all” 12.5 build myself. Would have gone w a tri-arc barrel if i could have found one in stock at the time. Aero M4E1 TR upper/lower BCM guts, bcg, h2 buffer and spring, 13” mcmr rail CMC 3.5lb trigger, MagPul grip 12.5 Rosco barrel Radian raptor, 45 safety Surefire scout m640U pro Midwest combat irons ADM 1.5 cantilever QD mount Vortex Razor HD 1-6 mrad Whitt machine canooter valve suppressor. I know it’s a cheapie, but it doesn’t add hardly any weight vs a large muzzle device, and fits under the BCM mcmr rail, which slightly overhangs the 12.5 barrel. Clean package that kills flash and knocks the edge off the noise, and only adds 2.9” to the end of the gun, so still same length or shorter than a 14.5 unsuppressed. Plan to replace irons w a 12:00 rmr style red dot soon. 1.5” ADM mount will keep rmr height from getting too tall, and better for LR application over a 1.93. Any input is appreciated!

Thanks for putting out this series, it’s definitely given me some food for thought. After having built three 18” SPRs, I’ve decided to go with a 16” RECCE. Although I love how smooth these rifle length guns shoot on a flat range, they’re kind of impractical for everything else. I’d love to go with a 13.9” barrel, but I’m tired of dealing with NFA crap.
@JG-gw5cc4 жыл бұрын
I really enjoyed this video series, I just finished my Recce or do all rifle. I started with.... I wanted a stock and and overall 16 inch length with a pinned and weld suppressor ready muzzle device. Personally I wish I had known of your 13.9 barrel, I went 13.7 with the nox for a 16.1 overall length.... so no legal issues with an SBR. I can run a can if I want and with the dead air sandman k I am right at 18 inches. And with a 13 inch rail I have even more room for white light and switch extended further forward to assist the balance overall. I have heard great thing about your barrels. I really wish you guys had gone with the 13.9 and pinned and welded. Most guys I know don’t want to bother with the SBR stamp thing....well at least the guys I train and or shoot with, we are back and forth from MO to IL, crossing lines with an SBR is a hassle.

I went with the sba3 on both my 12.5" 5.56 and 12" 6.5 grendel. Originally went with the 2.5x primary arms acss prism on the 5.56 and the 1-8x primary arms on the grendel. But once i realized the 12.5" 5.56 was easily capable of reaching out to 4-500yds i soon pulled the 2.5x prism off and replaced it with a 1-6x v-cog (kinda impulse buy, by far the most expensive optic i own) with the segmented circle reticle and bdc Ive played with my zero and i can make consistent hits fairly quickly and easily out to 400yds with the 5.56. Im sure i could stretch it out farther but that's what im limited to due to local geographic lol. I tried running a sig romeo 3 micro dot on a 45 degee mount but really just found it to make the gun more bulky. Run a 600 series scout light on both and an ms4 sling.

Hey brother I’ve got a 12” that should be shipping any day now and I’ve also debated swapping my eotech for the VCOG. What zero are you running? I like a 50/200 but I’m wondering how that will line up with the built in hold lines in the reticle
@justa3v6194 жыл бұрын
Austin Rykbost mine is zeroed for a handload which is a 60gn v-max @ 2990fps from the 12.5” barrel but the 68gn hornady bthp frontier shoot very close to the same point of impact. I’m zeroed almost a full inch high at 100yds and using the bdc in the v-cog I can keep it on a 10”-12” plate out to 400yds. As far as the 50/200 zero that won’t really work with the bdc it pretty much requires a 100yd zero. The way I alway true my bdc reticles (primary arms acss) is zero it dead on at 100yds then back out to 300yds and using your 300yds bdc aiming point adjust until you are dead on at 300yds. It will move your 100yds zero a little but not enough to make a difference. Like I said after trueing mine at 300yds I’m about 7/8” high at 100yds which is around an inch low at 50yds.
