oh i never knew you could combine materials to make the plant matter. :O this was fantastic. you kept it short, sweet and to the point. :) if i ever need to gather those plants before setting up an outpost with the bio domes of each plant i'll be coming back here again.

I’m just getting back into the game after what might be a few years and I remember doing calculations in the back of my notebook at school for Chlorine cycling for profit. I love alchemy.

atlandium (the stuff from dissonance planets and corrupted sentinels) can be turned into pugneum at a ratio of 1:2 I believe
@dreadlockninja9 ай бұрын
Yeah it can but pugneum is only really needed to make gold for the first time, as once you have it there is a better method. I did contemplate putting it in but came to the conclusion it was just extra steps

Your videos are so helpful mate. I'm always coming back to this one for reference even with all the recipes sites because of how you break the cycle down. Thank you.

Aronium -- Paraffinium x30 + Tritium x20 + Cobalt x60 is cheaper than the gold method, only issue is there is more ferrite than cobalt when gathering

Nitrogen, di-hydrogen, a milk farm and a couple plants (cactus and frostwort) and you can be insanely wealthy. Put it all next to water with some traps... Great vid! Didn't know I could make meat from oxygen. Makes sense though 😂

If you want to make money either look into trade routes if you want to go the legit route or duplicate starship AI’s that you get from scrapping valuable ships if you wanna cheese it. I have a video on both if you take a look at my page

@@dreadlockninja It's all good, I'm chill on money I was just curious on how things worked, it's quite overwhelming to me for now but I'm sure it could become an interesting end game endeavor once I'm settled.

Yeah as a former minecraft guy I really like farms so it would be cool to build this and stock it with the base ingredients so I'm no longer flying around mid mission because I need some rare element
@grayhill672810 ай бұрын
I really liked this, but I am wondering why I would want/need to refine that stuff when I can buy or mine most of it? In any case, it was nice to see some original content. Looking forward to exploring your other vids.

Gold and platinum arent worth it either because the lemmium and dirty bronze are very common drops and asteroid mining yields so much of each of silver gold and platinum materials in a much less boring way.
@dreadlockninja9 ай бұрын
It's a fair point but I hate asteroid mining sooo much
@APBT3chnoM0nkey6 ай бұрын
Im fairly new but i’ve been asteroid mining to get silver and gold and making lemium and the other one worth 25.000. It seems like easy profit as long as you have uranium

I love NMS...but I quickly realized that doing the grind is an unbelievable waste of time... So glad they put in custom and creative modes so you can skip over all the BS and get to the fun stuff that you want to do in the game... 💥
@dreadlockninja9 ай бұрын
I understand why people enjoy creative mode, especially if they don’t have much time to game, but I just get bored if there isn’t any resistance to progressing.
@xmaTKDmma9 ай бұрын
the grind is the fun stuff otherwise whats the whole point if you just skip to the end. Thats like only watching the last 5 minutes of a movie. makes no sense

I expected a refining guide to talk about refiners, the differences between the different sizes and types, and then from there talk about recipe....not a fast talking recipe book with virtually no explanation for what's happening on the screen.
@dreadlockninja3 ай бұрын
Except I did talk about the difference between each of them, it’s how many items can be refined in them. The beginning covers the base ingredients and from there I gave every recipe in the game with infographics to go with it but admittedly it could have been paced better
@meikaishi3 ай бұрын
Here's a guide: The types are the portable refiners that come in simple, medium and large and you can make anywhere or your base, the backpack refiner and the freighter refiner. The differences are: simple can refine one material at a time, medium two and large three, the backpack one can refine one material and the upgraded one two and the freighter refiner can refine 3 materials from the get go
