Thing about Bibbs is, all of the categories are basically his strengths, hence the amazing performance despite spinning opponents choice.

Still, Rocha should have gone with Sandra Bullock, Denzel or (probably the best choice) Scores and Soundtracks. Arnie and Sly just made too many movies overlapping with Bibbs' strengths. I don't recall a single time S&S were perfectly answered by even self-proclaimed S&S experts like Reilly or Harloff.

Also big shoutout to Rocha for taking time to go and visit The Boss Ben Bateman after his surgery. He may be a semi-heel in The Schmoedown, but he has a big heart which is probably what makes him so likeable both in & out of the league. Lots of those movies are part of popular culture and he's very much tuned in to pop culture and the movie industry. With Westerns, there's much more of a chance you come across a question that's a bit more "out of left field" which would result in him not knowing the answer?

Great match! I was a little surprised Rocha didn't give him Westerns for round 2. That was a tough 5 pointer, but I remember SPR on their cinefiles episode on Pulp Fiction specifically talking about the Red Apple cigarettes. I'm a little surprised John didn't pull that. While I was hoping The Outlaw would be playing for the championship again, I'm glad that of anyone it is The Beast going forward!

Another great match here! Nothing for The Outlaw to hold his head over in this one, Bibbs is just on an incredible run at the moment and couldn't be stopped even with opponents choice here. Now that i know Bibbs is in the finals, i gotta say that i would really love to see Brenden as his competitor for the title shot, that would be really really cool for that team. Surprised to see Emma (and Sam) pretty much fired as Commissioners like that! I gotta say i was really hoping for a bit more of a heel turn from Emma (or Samm) with this commissioner storyline. Kind of seems to have just petered out rather than maybe seeing Emma abuse the power more than just that Chance thing. Gotta say that i really hope something bigger happens with that before the end of tenure this year.

As much as I like Rocha, I think 10 rounds live might have been too much. Probably for the best. This run should quiet anyone that says Rocha doesn’t have it anymore. Bibs deserved the win. Hoping he goes all the way. I could see him double belted by the end of the year!

That last question was one of the toughest 5pt questions I’ve ever heard asked on this show! I’ve seen a trend with Rocha lately, he misses too many questions in the 1st round sometimes and has to dig himself out of a hole especially when you’re going multiple choice so much in the 2nd round. Remembering they competed in a a ski race at the end of Better of Dead is much easier to remember than a trivial detail about Tarantino movies. Think about it this way. If you've seen Better Off Dead then chances are you know the answer. If you've seen all of Tarantino's movies there's a good chance you still wouldn't know the answer.
