I just checked Ali and an actual finely working used real Sega Saturn is 1/5 the cost of the console. Even a Hi-Saturn is a bit cheaper. I understand a flash card or whatever but why not just go original for the main hardware? 😂

Dont know how true this is but i am hearing there making thoes saturns out of consoles with working cd drives if true that's a bit of a shame. i do need to pick up one of then flash carts they look pretty good.

They rely on a real Saturn motherboard. So if the Saturn motherboard is working in this hideous slim shell, it would have worked just as well in it's original shell. There's really no point to these slim consoles. It's just people on AliExpress trying to come up with a way to sell Saturn's for at least 4x their normal asking price.
