Great video as always Cambriea!! So motivating! I think maybe a wood conditioner would have made a difference in how the stain came out on the stairs - it would have been more even - the wood was thirsty! Lol! I know you said you were embracing the rustic look so as long as you're happy with it & it makes sense for your family! But for future - conditioning the wood will make a difference even without further sanding. Hope you guys are well!

I needed this video. Glad I found your channel. I haven't been able to deep clean my house in over a year. I had a very serious back injury may 2021. My husband works as an OTR truck driver. My kids are 13 and 12. They thankful were able to do basic housework,but the deep cleaning and clutter just kept piling. My anxiety has been through the roof. Just looking at it made me so anxious and depressed. I'm not 100 percent,but have been cleared to do things. So this weekend the kids and I have tackled the mess. I'm almost done with the whole house. So much as been thrown away and donated. I used to be such a judgemental person when I seen extreme messes. Now I know that life can happen. Sometimes its completely out of our hands. Thank you for bringing these videos. They have all gotten me through a stressful cleaning weekend.

I love the chom chom roller, it works great. I used some odor ban once but didn't care for the smell- mine I believe was just original so curious to see if you get a different one & like the smell 🙂 The stairs turned out really good, love that tone of stain. Thanks for the video 👍🏼

You’re lucky if people stay out of it. Last time we tried it, we had people coming in the middle of the night, taking things out, removing bags and ripping them open, etc. it was awful! I hope your trash mongers aren’t as destructive as ours were! BTW - we had a large pile of good, useable furniture and electronics at the curb with a sign saying, “Free - help yourself” and stickers on the electronics saying “Works fine!” or stating what was wrong. It was clear that anything in the dumpster was trash/garbage!

Thank you for your wonderful cleaning motivation. I don't know how you have so much energy to clean so thoroughly, especially with 3 young children. I didn't see any outlet covers on the outlets in the kids' bedrooms. As a preschool teacher, we always have to cover the outlets or we'll get points off during our health, safety and sanitation inspections from the state.

That’s a great metaphor to do with the boys, I work with kids I do that with them to clean up or if one kid wants the same toy to okay with we’ll do like 5-10 mins and they qualify are negotiable. Odoban is the best!!! We have 4 dogs, 2 cats and 8 kids ages 2-11. I pretty much shampoo our living room carpet once or twice a week and it makes a difference. Isnt it crazy how many times we can shampoo and the water is always so gross 😅 your videos are always so motivating btw. Its 1:30am and I am deep cleaning my kitchen re watching your videos to keep me going. They always help me push through. I homeschool so if I dont have that "clean slate" before I go to bed, the next day I feel so behind. Blessings to you and your family! Your videos are much appreciated! 😊

Both my kids had security blankets. I have to wash/dry them early morning so they were back on their beds by nap time. I was told that Marines have a ‘desert scarf’ that is similar to a security blanket, they keep it when they are deployed or in training amongst their personal items. I understood because I have a security ‘pillow’. I always sleep with it. It would be the first thing I save in a fire and told my husband I want to be buried with it if I die. Lol.

It's an air filter. It's the best I have found with dogs because that outer cloth catches all the big stuff so it doesn't clog the hepa filter as fast. I have in in my Amazon store linked in the description

We have 4 kids and when they were young I used to start about 90 minutes before my husband got home and we’d pick things up. The living room and dining room got picked up and I’d wash the kids faces and comb their hair. I’d always have dinner started. It always made me feel so good for him to come home to a tidy house and clean kids!

I use Odo Ban to scrub out my cats litter box. I scrub it really well and rinse with HOT water a couple of times and set it outside in the sunshine to dry. It's the only thing that takes away the smell (I find) and since I don't use regular litter (only shredded paper, lonnnnng story) it needs to be scrubbed regularly. Highly recommend that product

Oh wow I need to try the chom chom roller! Also try the “FurZapper” off Amazon. You put one (reusable) in your washer and one in your dryer and it helps get the fur off your clothes and bedding in the washer & dryer. 👍💜

I recently got a tineco floor cleaner. I thought I was crazy for wanting to mop again after using it 😂 3 kids, 2 dogs, and 3 cats. I need all the extra cleaning Some extra products to try: Have you thought about trying the LoveMeg cleaner? I want to try it, but haven’t pulled the plug on buying it. If you liked it, I definitely would. Also, she uses a specific leather cleaner from grove. I thought about it when I saw your leather bench thing at your table and was curious what you use on it. I have leather couches/recliners in my living room and have thought about trying that out.

So, needless to say I did a lot of repairs and painting the house inside and outside with my five children. We had so much activity with them and sports. But we made it.
