My son and I are pretty new to fishing, certainly lure fishing. We got ourselves a nice little inflatable with a 6 hp on the back. Not too fast but gets us there. We got all the gear including a good fish finder which we are still to use as we just got it. We had the Lowrance basic but it was just no good. So far we have got a check list to finish in the Brisbane river and once complete we will head out in the bay. Our list started out with the following...Bream, Bass, Flathead, Snapper, Jew, Threadfin and then Bullshark. We are almost finished. Its so hard to leave the river because its so good for fishing but we will get out soon.
