Great question and it was absolutely the Rtic! The other two, you do get the tiniest hint of metallic taste! I don't have any of that with the Rtic.

FYI, simple modern recently released a ceramic lined cup. Might be interesting to compare rtic and the two simple moderns.

I did not. I have a friend who tested her couple of stanleys and they tested positive though.

I guess no one cares about the 40 oz Tal at Walmart that is rated for 50 hours? It was on sale for $15. I just got the Rtic in black because I couldn't find another Tal in black after going to 3 different Walmarts. All the other Tal colors looked like they were for women. I think the Rtic is actually bigger, and it isn't a taller skinnier build thing. Tal and Rtic might both be 40 oz, but the Rtic looks bigger.

So, I'm watching this, and I'm a bit unclear - I kinda skipped through a bit, because I have attention issues. But why are the tops not on in the comparisons? I mean, I am pretty sure when the companies do their tests for holding temps, they put the ice and water in, and then hold do the test. Did she do this? I mean, I've seen RTIC cooler tests vs other companies, and the testers DID close the lids on the coolers. So did she actually close the lids and only open if for the vids? If not I would say this test is moot

🤣🤣 Yes yes, they are closed the rest of the time. Only open to do a quick ice check for the camera and then closing them again.
