Thank you. The cabin noise levels would have been good to know.

You're welcome! Cabin noise levels are indeed an important consideration, especially for comfort during flights. Do you have any specific concerns or preferences when it comes to cabin noise in turboprop aircraft?

Absolutely! The TBM series is known for its sleek and elegant design. Is there a particular TBM model that you find most appealing, or do you have any specific experiences with TBM aircraft?

@@AviationFederation thank you so much! can i ask a question ? what is the number of tbm series ?
@AviationFederation10 ай бұрын
In this video, we specifically featured the TBM 900 (or 900 series), but the most current models in production are now the TBM 910 and 960.@@평창동대저택

You need to cover if each has a head, the range of each, time to climb to cruise alt, max cruise speed, max alt of each. Get rid of the cheesy music with all the finger snaps & noisy percussion.

The Pilatus, the aircraft not the mountain, has a massive flutter problem with the T-tail separating at high speed at altitude. At high altitude the TRUE AIRSPEED reaches structural resonance given by the critical Strouhall Number . Vortices are alternating in the corners below the tailplane at the frequency f = St * TAS × chord When this frequency resonates with the structural bending frequency at sufficiently high velocity the tailplane will separate as it has in numerous accidents. For this to happen the true airspeed must be large , even though at high altitude the indicated Vmo has not been reached, this critical altitude seems to be around 23000 to 25000 ft. where the TAS is 1.46 IAS.

The Pilatus aircraft's T-tail flutter issue at high speeds and altitudes is indeed a significant concern. The problem arises when the true airspeed (TAS) reaches a frequency that resonates with the structural bending frequency of the tailplane, leading to potential separation. This critical condition, which occurs around 23,000 to 25,000 feet where TAS is approximately 1.46 times the indicated airspeed (IAS), has been observed in various accidents. Is this a concern that should prompt a redesign or additional safety measures for high-altitude operations?

When talking about how many passengers can fit on the aircraft. Are including the pilots?
@AviationFederation10 ай бұрын
When discussing passenger capacity, we often refer to the number of seats available for passengers, excluding the pilots or crew. In small airplanes especially single-pilot aircraft, however, pilots are counted. Anything else you're curious about regarding the aircraft specs discussed here?
