This was the best video I for planning a trip to Vietnam (and believe me, I have seen a lot of videos before my journey to Vietnam)!! According to your advice we decided to stay in the northern part only, due to the lack of time. We didn't regret not having travelled to the south, especially because the jetlag and the acclimatisation demanded the first two days. All your other videos about the northern sights of Vietnam were very helpful as well.

A really good tip is that many places in the larger places have airbnb that works like hotels with cleaning service and access to facilities as well. When I were in Nha Trang the stay accually were in the hotel and the only difference between the airbnb deal were that you had to pay to get up to the sky-bar & infinity pool -and it didn't include breakfast. You could however still use the regular pool and the gym without pay. We paid about 30$/night by taking that deal instead of the regular hotel price.

On-line visa application with the Vietnam government web site (take care not to be duped into using anything else) is incredibly easy, just be very careful to enter all details correctly. If not it may be rejected or if a minor point they will ask you to correct it.. ASEAN citizens do not need a visa, they will be granted visa on arrival.
