So should you prioritize using an anti aliasing mode like fxaa or smaa and lower msaa to compensate? Or should you prioritize keeping msaa samples as high as possible even if that means disabling the anti aliasing mode. Msaa 8x anti aliasing off vs msaa 4x anti aliasing fxaa for example

my problem is i have a 3080ti its still the same with your gpu but with the same settings i have problems with my frames i think the gpu memory is to low but your 4070 have still 12GB. ps i have a hp reverb g2 is the problem the higher resolution from the vr? sry for my englisch

Sounds more like a CPU problem. I have a 3080Ti as well and run the Pimax Crystal Light at native Resolution (2880p per Eye) without any smoothing or frame generation at solid 90fps

I've been using vr since CV1 came out...and I've been through Cv1, reverb G2 , Pico4....!! Iracing was ok until 3..4 months ago... when without offering anything it eats the fps hard...!!

exactly... i have the same feeling... i don't know WTF iRacing did, but it now loads like 3 minutes instead of 30 seconds and the game is absolutely stuttering, I need to put everything on LOW settings for it to be playable

This seting They are no longer valid these days....Iracing seems to be the most demanding SIM without offering anything in exchange.! It was among the best but now it's ok only with a top system like 4090 / 7800x3d...!

I'm on 4090 / 7800 X3D and there's no way I could run these settings and have it be stable. MSAA samples is a killer, I'm other at 0x or 2x. Anything higher murders my frames.

@@AlexeiWatsonI’ve got 7800x3d and 4090 Suprim x and it runs these settings perfect on 120hz full resolution in oculus. Holds 120 frames. Gotta fine tune your PC.

@SamuelBozak oh man I'm all out of fine tuning! Does it have foveated rendering? I think either the PSVR2 resolution or the adaptor is causing the issues. My 4090 is a FE. I could OC but really shouldn't need to

@ my quest 3 doesn’t have foveated rendering. You shouldn’t need to OC as like I said my quest 3 is on max res 120hz and runs like butter with everything set like how the video is. Using link cable of course. Same with ACC.
