Ultimate Vs Regular Descendants - Which One To Pick??

The exception is when you're pushing mastery rank, then you want to have leveled both.

I now have 4 Ults. I level the regular to 40 for the Mastery Rank and then delete the regular character. No point investing in them any further.

Not knowing that the ultimate descendants aren't upgrades to regular descendants but entirely different characters, I used an Activator and 5 Catalysts on base Ajax, how fucked am I?

On Ajax not so much. His 2 trascended mods exclusive to the ultimate version are not that great. If you main ajax you have very solid picks between "body enhancement, matrix recomputation and void charge". And stats wise Ajax is unkillable so you're good on the regular one.

Most peeps seems to think that Ult are super Saiyan over powered versions and get a slap in the face when they unlock/buy the ult version after playing with the base ones. Most of them (except Gley) have around 4-6% more hp/def/shield depending on the descendant. Always better to invest in ult over base but not a big difference tbh.

Personally, unless an Ult Descendant has a Transcendent Mod that I actually want, then I'll never farm for them. So... no Ult Ajax or Ult Gley for me. I guess one exception to that is if the Ultimate version looks spicy, like Ult Bunny. So I'm definitely going for Ult Freyna. lol

Ultimate comes with 4 sockets. So u need less catalyst on em

Ultimate have slightly beter stats and ult have mods that normal cant use
