🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:28 ⏰ War equalizer removes all status effects and stacks from all heroes every three turns, after your turn and before the enemy attacks. 01:11 💣 In equalizer war, status effects on defense heroes last one turn longer than on offense heroes, so using damage over time is recommended. 02:26 🛡️ Taunt heroes can be used in equalizer war, but taunt will likely only last one to three turns. 04:11 ⛔ Heroes like costume Finley, hippos, dancing heroes, and certain blue heroes are not recommended for defense in equalizer war. 05:44 💥 Heroes that don't rely on buffs or ailments, and instead focus on direct damage, are great choices for defense in equalizer war. 07:46 🌪️ Ojuma is a great equalizer hero as he wipes off minions and deals more damage for every minion he takes. 09:35 🌟 In attack boost war, focus on creating a buff-heavy defense to increase survivability and damage output. 11:18 💥 Aero barrage war puts stress on attackers, and a synergy-heavy defense with heroes that extend the battle can be effective. 12:25 ⌛️ Time is on the defense's side in arrow barrage war, so consider heroes like Catalan and a taunt hero to prolong the battle. 14:12 💥 In a minion war, consider using anti-minion heroes like Ojuma, Scotty, Grimble, Captain of Diamonds, and Topaz. 20:40 🌪️ Place anti-minion heroes on the far left of your defense to avoid them being killed by other heroes before they can take out minions. 21:19 💡 Use minion heroes from the Three Kingdoms alliance if you have them, as the attackers will likely use up their anti-minion heroes. 23:11 ⚡ In Rush War, prioritize using slow heroes for more power. Alfreich is a strong choice for non-meta players. 23:26 🔥 In Rush War, attackers will likely fire their specials within two to three rounds, so taunt heroes can be beneficial to absorb the damage. 23:40 💪 In Rush War, double limit broken Ludwig or Alfrank can serve as effective tanks. 25:03 💥 The synergy between Mother North and Callow is powerful in Rush War. Place Callow on the left and Mother North on the right to make use of their abilities. 26:45 🚀 Callow will fire the specials of every dead hero, regardless of their mana, making it effective to use him with Mother North. 30:11 😨 Justice is a strong hero to have on a defense team, especially in Rush War, as her special hits hard and blinds enemies. 33:39 🌟 A combination of Callow, Ludwig, and Justice can make a powerful low-level defense team in Rush War. Mother North can be substituted with other slow heroes. Made with HARPA AI

1:50 Myoin-ni is arguably the best tank in the game atm and she doesn't deal damage 5:50 Instead of using 2 dispellers, I'd just use my CMelendor, he works great against Ludwig. I never use an actual fiend counter against fiends (because I only have Wang and she's too slow) and Elizabeth still isn't a problem to me. By using Mielikki, I can even get rid of the mana slow without healing the fiend away. And if you, unlike me, actually get support heroes and/or had enough heroes to get Ludwig from the Soul Exchange because, unlike me, you hadn't spent all of them on Ariel, you can just counter direct damage, ailments, fiends and mana control all at once by using taunt. 10:45 I guarantee you that you'd probably get a winrate of 75%. If Hurricane fires before you get one of your colors going, you're screwed. 20:57 Anne IS a great defensive hero. Yes, that is one flaw of hers, it's why I've always considered her a bit overrated. But if she's either tank or left flank, she's probably going to get a lot of damage in and there aren't a whole lot of reasons to not put her at either tank or left flank if you have her. 22:09 OK, let's say you choose to put Isrod at tank and simultaneously have 3 heroes on the team that are better tanks than Isrod? 22:40 So now you have the 2 most threatening heroes on the team on the wings, which is not great by itself, but even worse because your Tank boosts mana for everyone except them. 26:12 Ferant and Furdinand are a really bad synergy

Lol, you've GOT to keep in mind that my target audience doesn't have most of these heroes. It's the general principles that I'm going for. But, I don't disagree with most of your specific points in here. Anna is great IF she's your best hero, but like you said, I think she's overrated. Weirdly, I like her better for rush war bc of her secondary skill and I stick to using Jove and Ogima on defense instead. Thanks for the feedback!

@@sdinaro1 I do keep that in mind, I am part of your target audience after all (in terms of how much I spend/how strong my account is). I just think that if you're going for the principles, it would be helpful to use examples where your principles actually work. If you say that the tank should be the most threatening hero and then use an example where the tank is not the most threatening hero, that's not a very good example, even when you're talking about a different point. For Anne, I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to use Ogima, Jove AND her. I'd probably go Ogima Anne Aramis Jove Hurricane if I had your heroes (I'm not a big fan of Hurricane on the wing tbh, but he's LB2).

1:48 "If your tank doesn't deal damage, you have to put in a tank that does deal damage" - pretty difficult wording when Top 10 alliances are running Myoin-Ni and Hathor as tanks. Have seen full squads of LB2-Arco and some mixes of Cleopatra / Hathor as well in Top 100 and they didn't do bad either.

That is a valid point. However, my channel is targeting players who are c2p or playing in mid level alliances. Those players mostly don't have those heroes, and especially don't have the heroes you have to surround them with in order to make that work. The newest meta (in my opinion) is truly the beginning of different Era, where they are playing with teams that are not available to everyone. Basically, the top players are almost playing a different game. The tanks I'm talking about avoiding are like Kramus, Zulag, Xnolphod, and others in that older "era". I'm not trying to alienate higher level players, I just think that mid level players benefit more by not trying to replicate systems at the top that they don't have the heroes for. Hope that makes sense
