That’s a weird encouragement, a fake wrestler/performer, although he was good! I was a fan gotta say but still I never looked up to any of them. But I had a dad, that was the real baddest motherfucker you ever met, so he was more of a role model to me! He earned a Purple Heart in Vietnam and was a iron worker like myself! My family would show me pictures of how jacked he was before the war and what it had done to him he never really came back I guess you could say! I know he taught me how to ride motorcycles and drive car and swim before I could remember like I was so small I don’t remember learning I just have always knew! I lost him to his 6th heart attack 6 years ago but his never give up spirit lives on in me and my boy!

@Captain Charisma Your ignorance is astounding, but you're a mark for Christian or Christian Cage if you prefer. Most science and tech people aren't KKKonservaturds. They're social liberals/moderates, not KKKonservaturds. The low IQ morons tends to be religious and social KKKonservaturds. Fiscal conservatives are more likely to be Democrats. The two worst performing economies since The Great Depression were the two most recent Republican POTUSes (Drumpf and Dubya). The last time there was a US government surplus Bubba was the POTUS. The US economic expansion and bull market run started under Obama and ended under Drumpf, who was responsible for a net loss of jobs, not including the pandemic. Give your head a shake with your simpleton analysis.

Warrior had shown regret over this speech years later. Warrior in his later years had become a very philosophical and inspirational person to me and his impact on my life I will cherish forever. In the digital age it's easy to go back and pick apart things a person has said or done and attribute that to their current mindset, but we are human and constantly evolving. The key is learning from our mistakes moving towards being a better version of ourselves. RIP Warrior

I feel that Jim Hellwig was pushed into a corner by a group of people who were looking to use his words and statements in a way not intended... I don't agree with the idea that gay people are not humans who are no different than those who aren't gay. The 'they/them' bullshit however..... There is only women and men. Only 2 genders. It's science, not open for interpretation... Jim's point with the gays don't make society run or work, in my opinion means that one's sexual orientation means zero when it comes to societies growing and being successful.. I believe Jim was saying people put too much importance on gays in society then they should. While he doesn't agree a mayor of a city is the mayor.. not a GAY mayor. To put homosexuality in the forefront is wrong. Not wrong like it's a sin, but wrong as in it doesn't matter, putting 1st and prioritize it as more important than the person. Is wrong.

About 34 minutes into the speach Warrior makes the claim that there can be no rights without responsibilities. Now, some members of the audience completely misunderstand this claim. They think that he's saying that a newborn child has to DO something to EARN its right to life. Obviously, Warrior isn't saying anything like that. His point is instead that the newborn child's right to life is DEPENDENT on others responsibility to fulfill or realize that right. And on this point, the prominent philosopher Onora O'neill agrees with Warrior. She says : "every right, by implication, also defines some obligation".
@Demonizer5134

They say warrior was bad with fans but ive never seen an example of that. From what ive seen and experienced myself as a kid he'd always treated every fan with respect and made sure he made their experience with warrior as close to how they imagined it as possible. There are several videos on warrior interacting with fans and they were all good. He understood that the people are who really paid him. Man was crapped on a lot, but if you look into it yourself, youll see a lot of it was just flat out lies. I met him as a kid at a wwf house show and he threw me right on top of his shoulders for a picture like he was just one of my uncles. Here it is going on 30 something years later and i still remember that. Thats pretty incredible.

Being a progressive myself I also find myself agreeing with him on many points, and facepalming at others. Ayn Rand is not an example of brilliant writing. her works were utterly disconnected from reality and complete nonsense. But appealed to a certain kind of mindset with large ego's. That mindset devoid of empathy and self reflection. One that assumes a persons "common sense" was agreeable to everyone else and unable to fathom when others don't agree. Then started tearing into other philosophies that he disagreed with in abstract terms. It seemed to go down hill about half way through.

1.He's not yelling or angry - he's passionate. 2. He's right on many points. Whether you like the language he used or how he said it. 3. Warrior was EXTREMELY disappointed that most people weren't as motivated or passionate about life as he was. That, I think was his weakness. He tended to be a little too biased toward anyone who didn't live the way he did. But that's not prejudice, its just an lack of capability to see things from someone else's perspective. But he said things to motivate people to be better. One of his best quotes ever - "Do the work of your life. Be who you were meant to be".

It's amazing how much backlash he got simply for stating the obvious fact that heterosexual behavior is more legitimate than homosexual behavior. And isn't it? Am I as a rational person really supposed to believe that man on man sex is just as beautiful as sex between a man and a woman within the confines of marriage? No. We as a society should not stoop so low. It's what destroyed the Roman Empire. We as conservatives need to speak up for family values and tradition. It's one thing to tolerate homosexuality, but by no means should we have to embrace it. I stand with The Ultimate Warrior. Anyone else?
