Why does a guy rumored to be such a self-centered guy resonate with me so much? So much charisma and intensity.
@fuzzluvver693 жыл бұрын
Because it's exactly that - rumoured - by generally bitter, insecure guys who never achieved a quarter of what Warrior did. Most of them sold out their values when it came to accepting money, and could never understand someone who had principals yet also managed to make more money than they did whilst upholding them.

I love wrestling and wrestlers, but lets be honest most of them are roided out theater f*gs. A lot of the bitterness towards Warrior seems to be centered on his business savy. They werent happy he wasnt the best technical wrestler but he was paid loads of cash.

I miss this guy so much. He was one of my heroes as a kid, I had all the tassels and paints for my face, I started working out at 13 years old! I kept saying I’m going to be just like him. I never got a chance to meet him, growing up on the reservation it was so hard to leave if you weren’t an adult. Whenever I’m feeling down or lazy I listen to him and man, it makes me want to go take on the world and be ready for whatever life throws at me. I know it sounds dumb or fangirl but man he molded my life so much. At first I wanted to be a wrestler but seeing what happened to him I changed my focus to bodybuilding and in 2019 I finally got my ifbb pro card. I’m nowhere near as big as the cutlers and the Coleman’s but I became a pro doing it my way, clean, and I’m the first Native American to hold a pro bodybuilding title

Watching him on the old WrestleMania episodes, Ultimate Warrior gave me goosebumps every time he ran down the ramp like a shooting star and interacted with the crowd from afar. Hell, even the things he'd say in character were amazing. In recent years, I've been struggling to find my way in life. I felt stuck and was fighting an internal battle to either accept it or to actually do the work to do better. This interview showed up as if he had given an answer from beyond the grave.
