Jay is spot on about the Browns fans blind love 365 days a year. It doesn't matter if they're good or bad.

Guardians are in good shape going into the post-season. Think it will be the Astros, but with the way the Tigers have been playing, it would not surprise me if it were Detroit.

Jay….That was not a base running mistake. He goes on contact when you’re one run down there but the ball got snagged by the pitcher. If it gets to the 2nd baseman, he has to rush a throw and make a perfect one. It was not bad base running, that was the situation.
@rocketimpossible5196Ай бұрын
It wasn't most fun, that was the year Grady dropped the ball in CF on the final weekend to miss the playoffs. That season was a blast. THIS season was the most inexplicable and improbable, and maybe the most proud I've ever been of the team and of being a Cleveland fan, but the second half was STRESSFUL. Good luck in the playoffs, boys! Go Guardians ❤

frustrating is how id describe this season. they needed to add at the deadline with a real bat and a starter. they got cobb and thomas. it will ultimately cost them the title which was attainable this year.

Yall are just miserable. Theres a time to complain but its not now karen.@@titansrule72

@@titansrule72 Thomas was the absolute best hitter in the league in September, and was a top 3 deadline acquisition overall by the end of the season. Dude was in a slump at first and came out of it in a big way. Cobb, I'll give ya credit there, he was a disappointment. Could 100% save our asses in the playoffs though

Yes, the defense needs to be more consistent.

There's a good chance that the home umpiring will tighten the strike zone even though they've been poor in the regular season. Say You Say Me say it together in harmony, Lionel Richie. LOL

I love this team. They are so much fun to root for. I consider them the "anti-Browns."

They don't need to win twelve games, it is eleven games.

The Guardians are, by far, the best Cleveland team this year. The Browns will not have a winning record, much less, win the AFCN, and the Cavs won’t win the Central Division of the Eastern Conference. The Guardians had the least to work with (on paper), had a very low budget, and won one of the toughest divisions in MLB. And, they had the second best record in the American League. We probably won’t make it to the World Series but they still are the team most deserving of our admiration. Well done Guardians, well done.
@titansrule72Ай бұрын
dolans are in the top 7 richest owners in mlb. doesnt have to be a situation where they have the least to work with. they could spend if they werent so damn cheap.
@sevenstarsofthedipper1047Ай бұрын
@@titansrule72 If the Dolans are not spending, then the Guardians still has the least of the 3 teams to work with. Neither the Browns nor the Cavaliers rank 25th in payroll in their respective leagues. The Guardians do.
@titansrule72Ай бұрын
@@sevenstarsofthedipper1047 the fact that they dont spend is their choice and their choice alone. its not that they cant afford it.. they choose not to unlike their counterparts.

you gotta stop with the narrative that they exceeded expectations. 2 years ago with nearly the same team they were one win away from the alcs. last year they failed expectation. this year they are right where they should be. id argue that without a cheap ass owner they'd be in the drivers seat for a world title in about 30 days. but everything the hard way in cleveland, right?

💯 correct. The core guys of Kwan, Naylor, Ramirez, Gimenez, Clase, and few others were there. Naylor Jr, Rocchio, Brennan, Beiber, McKenzie, Fry, Bibee, Williams,smith etc were either right on the doorstep of joining the team or played and just out with injury this year. So ya it’s basically the same team and the prospects that were beating down the door to join the team. I had them at 88-74 was my prediction and AL central champs before the season started.
