Horrible o-line, bad play calls by Stefanski who refuses to give up play calling, receivers dropping easy catches (butterfingers Cooper), etc, etc. How can Watson play well when he only has 0.2 seconds to throw the ball? 🤣 Watson has shown flashes of great play, he could have won against the Raiders had Cooper caught that easy catch that bounced off his chest to the Raiders and they didn't get that bogus holding call. Deshaun Watson is not the only problem with the Browns, but he is a major problem that hasn't shown any signs whatsoever of being part of the solution. When the Browns traded 6 draft picks for Deshaun Watson and paid him a $230 million dollar fully guaranteed contract, it was with the expectation that he would elevate the talent around him. And right now, everyone else on the team is expected to carry him because he is not contributing anything at all.

Every other team (including his hometown Falcons) in the race met with him over zoom. The Browns were being the biggest pick me's. Baker's agent met with the front office during the 2022 combine. And they informed Baker's team that if something presented itself where they could upgrade the position that would pursue that. That does not mean fly down to Atlanta to court Deshaun while the rest of the league is recruiting him at arm's length. And then when Deshaun initially rejected them, they flew to Austin to try and smooth things over with Baker. All 3 of these guys need to go. They're jokes.

Is Deshaun playing well? Absolutely not, however, it's awfully weird that every time the offense gets going there's major penalties, particularly on game winning/changing drives (see giants, raiders, eagles games). Stints where he throws perfect, extending place etc. Normally, qbs this "bad" are riddled with turnovers. He has only 3 and two of those were drop passes.!!!just makes me think..Regardless, he's accounted for damn near 6k yards of offense in his last year in Houston. If you can't figure out how to get that out of a player I'm pointing at coaching before I blame the player.

The all 22 shows that there is a problem with Watson seeing the field and knowing where to go with the football. He looks like a rookie...and not a very good one. Are there other problems? The spread offense is his design. The plays Stefanski calls are both his system and Dorsey's system. When you see the QB under center, with less than 2 WR's, that's Stefanski 's RPO system. When you see the QB 5 yards back with 3 or more WR's, that's Dorsey's spread system. He designs the plays, Kevin calls them. The players execute them.

Baker still with the Browns in 2024 talk needs to include healthy, more experienced, more mature, and those lost draft picks being on the team. What is the over/ under on number of fans and media that liked what it took to acquire Watson, not just Watson replacing Baker, but what it took? My guess that over/ under would be about 1, with that 1 being Watson. Johnny Manziel arrived in Cleveland with bust written on his forehead, the Watson deal was stamped with 'disaster' before the ink from Watson's signature dried.

That Cavs coaching comparison to running it back is a terrible comparison. The core four on the Cavs consists of 4 good nba players. Watson is not a good nfl player. We’ve seen the core four work at times and it was evident coaching was the Cavs problem. The front office is to blame. Berry and Depodesta, are accountable for the hell they have caused for the city and fans. They underestimated Mayfield and overestimated Watson, and miss evaluated 0:35 the host of other players they’ve trotted through here to help Watson. They don’t know how to build a team with culture and character that can be winners. They make bad decisions and negotiated the worst deal in NFL History. THEY SHOULD BE FIRED!
