If you cant see how bad this trade was you are thinking on emotion at this point. Baker and Tampa is a better spot than we are, Houston is in a better spot than we are, and we just had a 39 year old step in and match Watson's best stats while looking better doing it. The fact that his performance Sunday is being celebrated is proof how far the goal posts have been moved

He sees the trade was bad, but to your point, the jury is out on Mayfield and even if he does well in Tampa, it doesn't mean he would've thrived in CLE. Houston did well with Stroud, but drafting a star QB always involves some luck. CLE is a desperate sports town, it caused the trade in the false belief that the Browns are a super bowl lineup and can't wait. Same with trading for Donovan Mitchell, who will not lead Cavs to a title. Really, if Watson wins with a decent defense backing him, that would salvage the bad trade.

Agree 100% this comment by pdmatt is spot on. Everyone around the nfl knows this trade was a huge disaster. 3 first round picks for 0 playoff wins and bottom 3 qb stats every season. And now baker is leading the nfl in tds and passer rating. Berry looks like a fool and watson is a joke.
