I want to see Cory play live someday. Love what he is doing all across the board. I have used UltimateGuitar for years as well. I have a Fender Strat Ultra that has some of the upgrades and I am very happy with it, but I would LOVE to have a Cory Wong Signature. I always play on the 4th position! God bless you all.

Our interviewer needs a nice audio interface with an SM7B like Mr. Wong has! The webcam mic is, frankly, painful to listen to in comparison.

I was thinking the same thing in addition to a better video cam…because the interview was great!

Great interview. I'm not a musician, but I still enjoyed it a lot. I liked Cory explaining building his tours. Some interesting advice on digging into the (devilish) details of songs. It applies in many professions. Encouraging and Inspiring Prince story. What is the significance of the "Cracker Barrel" hat? Best Wishes. ☮ A note on audio. Cory Wong's audio was excellent, but "UltimateGuitarTv" audio sounded like it was recorded inside a cardboard box.

Shiiiit. I learned using albums and moving the needle to the right spot. Listening over and over and trying to figure out what they are doing. I learned Van Halen on tab. I started learning Led Zeppelin II, lots of Led Zeppelin and the blues based stuff. Jimi. Then later Randy Rhoads and the neo-classical stuff. Then Stevie Ray Vaughan changed the game with "Texas Flood".

Advice for new players: Find your vibrato. Once you find your own vibrato you are 90% to finding your own sound.

I noticed the Cracker Barrel hat. Is it true that bands eat for free at Cracker Barrel? Or just a rumor? Cheers Cory! ❤
