This is something new I would want to try. I hope you like it because I did more videos with this content that I will upload on this week haha.

Basically, this video has two distributions in one. I will compare two versions of the same song and show the difference of the seconds. The striped bar will show the difference between the versions and I added an extra timer for those members who cover other lines.
Probably this video it's more accurate than my previous distribution of Catch Me If You Can, so yeah, it happens. :P

Disagree. I really enjoyed lion heart album and sailing without Jessica's voice. You only hear the difference when you listen to them sing past songs when Jessica is there and when she isn't. Jessica wasn't the only person who made up the vocal line. They are still fine with or without her

I really love Taeyeon's high note here, but is true, Jessica's version of the high sounds so amazing, I think I like it more! Even now, 4 years after I'm still sad that we can't listen again to these amazing girls sing together :c But.. You can easily tell that after Jessica departed from SNSD, the feels of the songs and performances aren't the same anymore because we all know that they lack something. Actually, the ot9 version of cmifyc was recorded around June because they recorded "vocally" right after they promoted Mr. Mr. If Jessica was still on the team all the way through The Best Live Tokyo Dome Concert, they would've perform Catch Me If You Can as a surprise for their Japanese fan. But either way, w/ or w/out Jessica, ot9 is still in our hearts.

One thing I have noticed since Jessica left and the others (Taeyeon, Tiffany, Seohyun, YoonA (Station & K2 OST)), Jessica was the sound of SNSD. That is to say, she is the only solo that stills sounds like SNSD. Taeyeon is a great singer and I really like YoonA's Station releases and Amazing Grace (K2), but it was Jessica's voice that I missed during 'Lionheart' and 'Holiday Night' promotions. I was not fully back onboard with SNSD until OH!GG Fermata.

Catch Me If You Can will always have a special place in my heart. After it came out I was so sad with that clip of Jessica singing part of it in jessica and Krystal I knew she was suppose to be in it. The fact that we not only got the song, but the video too? Amazing. Bittersweet and perfect closure for me. Imagine how many other songs they could have versions of with her in them. I'm convinced sunny's bit right before the last chorus in You Think was originally Jessica. With songs like Boomerang being from 2008 and sitting on a shelf until 2012 who knows how many 'new' SNSD songs we are getting with her cut out of them.

This is a great idea. I have suggestion, though! You could totally use this for a center distribution. One bar for when they're actually in the middle and the other for when they have the spotlight, whether it's in the back or at the sides. It would make more sense, I think! Although SM probably really assigned Jessica to be one of the members of dance line, I don't think Jessica dances that well when comparing to Hyoyeon and Yuri, or even Sooyoung and Yoona. SM can chose Hyoyeon or Yoona to became center in ITNW opening but no, SM chose Jessica instead. Thats just show Jessica not only have vocal, but dance and visual. The time when I heard Yoona's high notes, I know it's exactly belong to Jess. It's really rare to see Yoona's high note even though I know she is also a good singer. Mostly groups will immediately disband when they lost a member but thank you for the rest of 8 members who keeps SNSD name alive.

Although Taeyeon is the backbone singer and strongest vocal of the group, it’s mainly Jessica’s uniquely soothing voice and adlibs that elevated majority of their songs to a higher level. Without Jessica, yes, Taeyeon and the remaining vocal line can still carry the songs, but they just sound flat and dull. None of them can cover Jessica’s lines and adlibs the same way that it used to harmonize with Taeyeon’s vocals quite beautifully - not even remotely no matter how Seohyun and Sunny trained to be at their best.

The line distribution isn't actually fair even when Jessica is still in SNSD. I know that Taeyeon is really a great singer and all but common let's face it that when it comes to distribution of lines she has like every single line. Back then, they excused that Taeyeon is the main vocal and the leader of the group. Hello there! Jessica is also the main vocal but there's a time that she only got a few lines, and when it comes to the leader thing, I believe you don't use that excuse when it comes to the music industry like some of the leaders in a KPop group has a few lines because they give the chance to others. And when you say that Sooyoung finally had the chance to be number 2? like I really like Hyoyeon, Yuri, Yoona and Sooyoung but what exactly is their position in the group? I remember that Yoona and Sooyoung are the lead dancers while Hyoyeon and Yuri are the main dancers, right? I'm not saying that they have to stick to their position in the group but I think that is their position because that's what they do best. So don't expect that they'll receive more lines than the main and lead vocal of the group. Don't take my comment in a negative side. I just want to clear those mind of yours. I hope it helps.

Yoona Sooyoung and Yuri benefited the most by Jessica not being in the group for this first song.. but in the end Jessica's voice is so unique no one could replace her... we will never know the full truth but .. SooYoung's parents are said to have put up a big fight over Jessica... I do believe Jessica was voted out.. don't cry for Sunny she had the power to stop this Sunny's uncle is Lee Soo-man is the founder of SM Entertainment and he had the ability to end it. Sunny wanted Jessica out of the group.. we will never know the reason why but it is most likely all about Money and maybe misplaced honor.. Jessica was dating a Billionaire and started a Clothing Line with stores in NY and other Cities. Their contract agreement is all outside ventures and endorsements are shared by the group and SM. SM gave the OK for Jessica to keep everything from her clothing line.. then the girls realized how big her business could become and they wanted part of it. SooYoung's parents are said to be one of the biggest reasons .. they are wealthy and probably decided to sue SM for a breach of contract and the amount would have been so big that it would have seriously hurt SM... Greed broke up GG... and then that Greed was the end of GG... so foolish... even SM never recovered.. they don't have any top acts anymore and always were at the top... I would like to see Jessica be backed by one of the Big recording companies and I would bet she would be a top performer today even considering her age.. If JYP gave Jessica a chance and some good songs and high quality MVs for her songs she would still pull an audience.. as it is she is on her own and she is still an influence bigger than the other girls in GG that have big companies behind them but can't get ahead... only Taeyeon does ok but people have soured over the breakup.

most of gg songs relied on jessica's voice + taeyeon. but jessica's voice is very unique that makes gg songs stand out even more. i remember the 'kissing you' song, jessica mostly sang it tho... without jessica gg songs became so bland and lose their colors..
