Love watching nick’s obvious excitement watching him lift those weights whilst training him. If you love iron as much as he does there must be no better buzz watching your child smash out those reps. Remarkable!! I can’t wait to be in that position.

My trainer (and x football player of note) says that kids and teens should tone their muscles using very light weights with a high number of repetitions emphasizing technique rather than lifting a heavy load, even once or twice. He says that heavy weight training puts extreme stress on muscles, tendons, and joints that are still growing. He believes that this type of lifting is not safe for kids and younger teens until they have finished growing. He has his boy using just a broom stick type of pole as he emphasized technique.
